With the addition of five new high-performance red pigments, including two rubine pigments with improved properties, the Pigments & Additives Division of Clariant shows its outstanding innovative power. A highly automated plant, build with the latest technology, gets Clariant ready to supply the market with high-performance red pigments for years to come. The potential of the new red pigments is far from being fully explored. The development of tailored DPP pigments for sophisticated printing jobs and colour filters, to be launched by Clariant in the near future, will be only one of many more innovation to come out of DPP chemistry.Note de contenu : - Highly automated plant

Revêtements en bâtiment:Peinture en bâtimentIndex. décimale : 667.9 Revêtements et enduits Résumé : Paint manufacturers are increasingly using color pastes in as many coating formulations as possible. Pastes can be blended with one another or added to binders and other components and thus incorporated into a paint formulation in a relatively short time. The mixing of smal I batches, elimination of expensive cleaning operations and the reduction of the raw material inventories, machinery occupancy and space requirements leads to lower manufacturing costs. SurfactantsIndex. décimale : 667.9 Revêtements et enduits Résumé : Surfactants provide pigment dispersion stability and rheology control in both waterborne and solventborne paint colorants, but some have the disadvantage of being classified as hazardous, or dangerous to the environment, leading to the need for hazard warning labels for the final colorants. A new class of surfactants shows good dispersion performance, while removing the need for hazard labelling. Note de contenu : - Surfactant-type dispersing agents
