Revêtements:PeintureIndex. décimale : 667.9 Revêtements et enduits Résumé : Polycaprolactones are aliphatic, liquid, solvent-free polyols suitable as reactive diluents in many types of crosslinked coatings. They can easily be incorporated into solventborne formulations, where their low Tg but high crosslinking levels can improve a range of physical properties. Although they are hydrophobic, some types can usefully be incorporated in waterborne coatings. Note de contenu : - Properties and benefits of polycaprolactones
- Impact of polycaprolactones on solventborne formulations
- Test formulations summarised
- Physical properties and UV resistance are improved
- Some types can be used in waterborne formulations
- Both physical properties and coalescence are improved
- Benefits of polycaprolactones summarisedEn ligne : https://drive.google.com/file/d/1ibg8FeTN_hYdK4xHW78PlwfcnEzSHny4/view?usp=drive [...] Format de la ressource électronique : Permalink : https://e-campus.itech.fr/pmb/opac_css/index.php?lvl=notice_display&id=24260

The unsaturation of the parent plant oil can be preserved, allowing coatings to cure by autoxidation, or be converted to other functional, groups to permit the use of other curing mechanisms. Note de contenu : - Alkyds and their modifications outlined
- Novel technology yields high unsaturated polymers
- Purified monomer yields colourless polymer
- Copolymerisation extends range of properties
- Polyols for PU coatings give high crosslink density
- Versatile chemistry for high quality coatingsEn ligne : https://drive.google.com/file/d/1ce4dYni8Mlw9LsqotTl_QVZFi51x8k7n/view?usp=drive [...] Format de la ressource électronique : Permalink : https://e-campus.itech.fr/pmb/opac_css/index.php?lvl=notice_display&id=24261

SurfactantsIndex. décimale : 667.9 Revêtements et enduits Résumé : Surfactants provide pigment dispersion stability and rheology control in both waterborne and solventborne paint colorants, but some have the disadvantage of being classified as hazardous, or dangerous to the environment, leading to the need for hazard warning labels for the final colorants. A new class of surfactants shows good dispersion performance, while removing the need for hazard labelling. Note de contenu : - Surfactant-type dispersing agents
- Polymeric dispersing agents
- Porperties of surfactants
- Requirements for dispersing agents
- Use in in-plant tinting
- Tests with point-of-sale colorants
- Universal applicability of surfactant blends without hazard warning labelling
