Guava
Produits capillairesIndex. décimale : 668.5 Parfums et cosmétiques Résumé : Banjiro is commonly called guava. Vuavas are cultivated for food in tropical countries and the fruit can be eaten raw or cooked and is often used in desserts. Its fruit, leaves and roots are used as folk medicines for treating diabetes mellitus and for relieving diarrhoea.
The leaves contain polyphenol, which acts to reduce glucose absorption, has an antiallergic effect, and is used to make a healthy tea in Japan.
We discovered that guava leaf extract obtained by a special extraction method has growth effects for hair follicle cells and dermal papilla cell and antiandrogen effects.
We also determined that the guava leaf extract had a positive effect on hair growth in a human clinical stury (n=16).Note de contenu : - Antitestosterone efficacy

Index. décimale : 668.5 Parfums et cosmétiques Résumé : Traditionally, the hair care has always focused on the visible part of hair : the hair shaft. But nowadays, we know that stress, pollution, nutrition, UV radiation, etc., they all affect the whole hair structure, including the scalp and the follicle. Ail these factors generate oxidative stress on both scalp and hair, finally causing scalp redness and flaking as well as hair breakage and fragility. The new active ELAYA RENOVATM nourishes and reinforces all the elements of the hair structure, improving its volume, hydration and shine from within. Made from Olea europaea stem cells, the active ingredient's mechanism of action consists in delivering a nourishing proteo-lipidic matrix to both the scalp and the hair cortex to strengthen, volumize, hydrate and revitalize the damaged hair and scalp. Several in vitro, ex vivo and in vivo trials demonstrate the ingredient's activity and the new concept of restoring the Hair Tensegrity. A new way to deal with hair care, considering a 'skinification' approach. In 2020, with men spending a lot more time at home than usual due to the coronavirus pandemic (COVID-19), normal grooming routines have been relaxed, severely impacting sales this year. Spending will also be restricted by the economic impact of the pandemic. Sales will rebound in 2021, before settling back into annually stagnating rates from 2022. Global sales in 2020 have been 41,263.1 EUR million (Retail Values RSP), -4.7% less than previous year but a moderate growth is expected for the three big categories: shaving, toiletries and fragrances.
In addition, facial hair fashion continues to put pressure on men’s shaving, the biggest category.
