Pigmentation, Troubles de laIndex. décimale : 668.5 Parfums et cosmétiques Résumé : Nowadays, uneven skin pigmentation and spots are considered a major sign of skin ageing, affecting lots of people all over the world. Hyperpigmentation is mainly due to the presence of melanin, which is synthesised by the tyrosinase enzyme. Until now, most cosmetics treatments for hyperpigmentation have this enzyme as the primary target, but Provital has developed a novel active that acts by means of a very unique mechanism: the prolonged stimulation of PPARy; which leads to the inhibition of a transcription factor that control the genes encoding tyrosinase and other enzymes. Both in vitro and in vivo studies have demonstrated the efficacy and safety of this active. Permalink : https://e-campus.itech.fr/pmb/opac_css/index.php?lvl=notice_display&id=19883

The plant-based ingredient Curcuma Longa (Turmeric) Callus Lysate is a 100% natural multi-active from Turmeric stem cells that fights the damage of skin derived from suffering stress, improving stress wrinkles, working as an emotional wellbeing manager, enhancing skin hydration and acting as a modulator of the brain-skin connection. Various in vitro, ex vivo, and in vivo tests were carried out to demonstrate the efficacy of the plant stem cell active ingredient.

Produits antisolairesIndex. décimale : 668.5 Parfums et cosmétiques Résumé : Lignin is a widely available biopolymer with UV protection and antioxidant properties, but traditional bulk lignins are unsuitable for cosmetics. Lignovations has developed a patented and green technology to produce colloidal lignin particles (CLP). In cooperation with the Vienna University of Technology (TU WIEN) their successful application in cosmetic products was demonstrated. In the present work, CLP are used as an effective SPF booster in organic and mineral sunscreen products, featuring an increase of the in vivo SPF by up to 50% or 11 SPF points. - Limitations of bulk lignin in cosmetic applications
- Refining lignin into cosmetic-grade colloidal lignin particles
- Benefits of using CLP in sun protection products
- The importance of a stable colloidal system
