Nanotubes de carbone à parois multiplesUn nanotube de carbone multifeuillet est constitué de plusieurs feuillets de graphènes enroulés les uns autour des autres. Il existe deux modèles pour décrire la structure des nanotubes multifeuillets :
- le modèle poupée russe: les plans de graphène sont arrangés en cylindres concentriques ;
- le modèle parchemin: un seul feuillet de graphène est enroulé sur lui-même, comme une feuille de papier.

Réticulation (polymérisation)Index. décimale : 675 Technologie du cuir et de la fourrure Résumé : Carboxylated multi-walled carbon nanotubes (MWCNT-COOH) were prepared by treating multiwalled carbon nanotubes (MWCNT) with concentrated sulfuric acid (H,SO4) and concentrated nitric acid (HNO3) at a volume ratio of 3:1. Afterwards, taking MWCNT-COOH as the modified materials and aziridine (AZ) as the cross-linking agents were added to polyether-based waterborne polyurethane (WPU) thus preparing waterborne polyurethane modified by cross-linking of aziridine/carboxylated multi-walled carbon nanotubes (AZ-MWCNT-COOH-WPU) emulsion and films. The latter was applied to the surface treatment of natural leather and synthetic leather and other coating materials. The effects of different AZ contents on the water resistance and mechanical properties of AZ-MWCNT-COOH-WPU films were analysed and are discussed. The synthesised product was characterised by FTIR, XRD, SEM and other detection methods. The results showed that AZ successfully grafted MWCNT-COOH to the molecular chain of WPU and, when the content of AZ increased, the tensile strength of AZ-MWCNT-COOH-WPU film increased, firstly from 14.8MPa to 21.8MPa and then decreased to 12.1MPa. Elongation at break decreased from 570.2% to 198.4%, the water absorption decreased from 108.9% to 2.4% thus the water resistance was enhanced. The prepared recipe was optimised and obtained as follows: the amount of emulsifiers was 5% ; the amount of initiator 0.4%, and amounts of the DBF and VETS were 5% and 2%, respectively. The prepared emulsion had good chemical and mechanical properties. The appearance of the resultant emulsion was translucent and light blue. The particle size of the resultant emulsion was in the range of 69nm to 105nm and the distribution was very narrow. Index. décimale : 675 Technologie du cuir et de la fourrure Résumé : Antifouling coatings are of great interest in many fields including the leather industry. Herein, the effects of zwitterionic groups on the preparation, structure, and performance of anti-biofouling zwitterionic polyurethanes have been investigated. The results show that the addition of excessive 1,3-propane sulfone (1,3-PS) contribute to the completion of the ionization reaction of the polyurethane in the preparation process. However, the residual 1,3-PS leads to the formation of micropores in the polyurethane films and this can be removed by the precipitation of the synthesized products in water. Differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) and dynamic mechanical thermal analysis (MITA) show the decreased T of polyurethanes with the increasing of zwitterionic groups, indicating the slightly enhanced microphase separation of the polyurethanes. The water vapour permeability (WVP) and water absorption rate (WAR) of polyurethane films increase with zwitterion groups, and thus the water-resistant property of the films needs to be improved for the purpose of leather coatings. In the emulsification of polyurethane, the presence of zwitterionic sulfobetaine causes the pH decrease of the emulsions, and proper neutralization may adjust it in the further investigations. Traîtements de surfaceIndex. décimale : 675 Technologie du cuir et de la fourrure Résumé : A matting waterborne polyurethane (MWPU) emulsion was prepared using polybutadiene diol (HTPB), polybutylene adipate diol (PBA) and isophorone diisocyanate (IPDI) as the main raw materials, dimethylolpropionic acid (DMPA) as a hydrophilic chain extender and ethylene diamine as a post chain extender, this was applied to the surface treatment of the leather. The surface microstructure of the MWPU film was studied by SEM. The results showed that when the content of HTPB increased, the particle size of MWPU emulsion increased, the stability decreased, the mechanical properties and surface roughness of MWPU film increased, the elongation at break, water absorption and light transmittance decreased. Combined with the matting effect, the gloss of the MWPU film was as low as 23GU, and the surface particles of the film were more obvious. The folding fastness was free from cracking, and the abrasion resistance could reach 154 circles [rubs], which meets the testing standard of leather. ThermogravimétrieIndex. décimale : 668.4 Plastiques, vinyles Résumé : In this study, a organosilicon modified waterborne polyurethane (WPU) is synthesized with polyethylene glycol 1,4-butanediol adipate ester diol (PBA) to form the soft segment, dimethylolpropionic acid (DMPA) as the hydrophilic chain extender, and isophorone diisocyanate as the hard segment to synthesize the WPU prepolymer, and aminoethyl aminopropyl dimethicone (AEAPS) as the graft chain extender. The properties of the formed WPU films are then characterized by using Fourier transform infrared spectrometry, thermogravimetric analysis, X-ray diffraction, and dynamic mechanical analysis. It is found that when the amount of AEAPS in the WPU is increased from 0 to 30 wt%, the particle size of the AEAPS modified WPU emulsion is increased from 84.8 nm to 271.9 nm and maintained high centrifugal stability. Moreover, the water absorption of the WPU film is reduced from 43.4% to 24.1%, and the hardness is enhanced from 3H to 5H, while the glass-transition temperature (Tg) of the soft segment of the modified WPU shifts from -37.4 °C to -44.3 °C, and the Tg of the hard segment shifts from 73.6 °C to 118.1 °C. Therefore, the overall performance of AEAPS modified WPU is improved Note de contenu : - EXPERIMENTAL : Materials - Preparation of WPU
