This approach is extremely costly in terms of both time and resources. On the other hand, while there has been significant advances and sophistication in computational modelling of composite failure, the industry has not taken full advantage of these methods. Note de contenu : - Numerous tests for damage tolerant design
- Recent development in finite element model
- OHT scaling and laminate lay-ups

PolyphthalamideIndex. décimale : 668.4 Plastiques, vinyles Résumé : Anyone seeking to replace a metal component by a plastic one, to reduce the number of component parts from eight to three and simultaneously cut both the weight and manufacturing costs needs to take great care to ‧ensure that all specifications are met – especially if the component is used in a hot gearbox and is subject to high mechanical stress. For developing a new shifter fork, GK Concept and its customer Koki Technik were awarded the 2019 GKV/TecPart Innovation Prize. Note de contenu : - Trojan work at up to 160°C
- Systematic search for the right material pairing
- A million windings for the insert
- Functional integration brings decisive cost advantages
- Endurance tests on automotive test rigs already passed
- Figure : The shifter fork creates a positive lock between the gear wheel and the shaft so that the engine power can be transmitted to the wheels

The research was carried out on goat skin and also there were no usage of any tanning agents as control groups. Finished leathers have been exposed to ageing conditions. Before and aft er ageing color measurements on all fi nished leathers have been conducted with Konica Minolta CM-3600d brand spectrophotometer. The impacts of the aluminum sulfate utilized in the research on light fastness were also inspected by using an ATLAS-XENOTEST ALPHA+ test instrument. Visible whitening on the color of parchment was observed when tanning process with aluminum sulphate was performed. Note de contenu : - Material - Method

Travail de rivière (cuir)Index. décimale : 675 Technologie du cuir et de la fourrure Résumé : The objective of this study was to evaluate the resistance of bullfrog skin, Lithobates catesbeianus, tanned with chromium salts and vegetable tannin. We also checked the influence of chemicals on the skin during the beamhouse operations. We adopted a completely randomized design for the resistance test, in a 22 factoriel arrangement: two tanning agents (vegetable tannins and chromium) and two cutting directions (longitudinal and transverse). Skin semples were collected during the beamhouse operations (soaking, liming, deliming, bating and degreasing) and analyzed for moisture, crude protein, ether extract and minerai matter. The tensile strength and elongation test, the results revealed that there was an interaction between factors (tanning agent and direction) for strength and tensile strength, indicating that both are important for best results of resistance. On the other hand, for progressive tearing tests, only the tanning agent was significant, chromium salts being the most efficient. The composition analysis showed that there was little variation in the amount of lipids during processing and there is no need for degreasing, because the skin of frogs has a low fat content which is removed in previous stages of processing.
