Pulvérisation cathodiqueIndex. décimale : 667.9 Revêtements et enduits Résumé : Cathodic electrodeposition (CED) coating was developed as a new type of industrial application for an anticorrosion coating since the mid 1970s. It has many merits, such as little environmental pollution, no fire hazard, excellent corrosion resistance, high throwing power and a degree of automation for coatings. Thus, it is widely used in automotives, light industry, agricultural machinery, household appliances, instruments, crafts, building materials and so on.
CED coating if often composed of water-soluble cationic resin, pigments and extenders, solvent and neutraliser, which is made by grinding. The cationic resin is the binder of the CED coating and is also the colour developing agent, which is vital to the properties of coating and its film. Thus, the cationic resin is one of the most important components for CED coating. Presently, the main research focuses on increasing kinds of cationic resin and improving the properties of cationic resin. In this paper, the advances of the cationic resin is reviewed.Note de contenu : - ADVANCE OF BASIC RESIN IN CED COATING : Epoxy resin - Acrylic resin - Polyurethane resins - Composite resins of epoxy and acrylate - Fluorocarbon resins - Organic silicon modified resins En ligne : https://drive.google.com/file/d/153bvIC4u7knkAUqiPwr3Ygriz0pSJ-0p/view?usp=drive [...] Format de la ressource électronique : Permalink : https://e-campus.itech.fr/pmb/opac_css/index.php?lvl=notice_display&id=22419

Surfaces -- AnalyseIndex. décimale : 667.9 Revêtements et enduits Résumé : Surface properties of a polymeric coating system have a strong influence on its performance and service life. However, the surface of a polymer coating may have different chemical, physical, and mechanical properties from the bulk. In order to monitor the coating property changes with environmental exposures from the early stages of degradation, nondestructive techniques with the ability to characterize surface properties with micro- to nanoscale spatial resolution are required. In this article, atomic force microscopy has been applied to study surface microstructure and morphological changes during degradation in polymer coatings. Additionally, the use of AFM with a controlled tip-sample environment to study nanochemical heterogeneity and the application of nanoindentation to characterize mechanical properties of coatings surfaces are demonstrated. The results obtained from these nanometer characterization techniques will provide a better understanding of the degradation mechanisms and a fundamental basis for predicting the service life of polymer coatings.

VinyltriméthoxysilaneIndex. décimale : 667.9 Revêtements et enduits Résumé : Fluoroalkyl end-capped vinyltrimethoxysilane oligomer [RF-(CH2CHSi(OMe)3)n-RF ; n = 2, 3; RF = CF(CF3)OC3F7] undergoes the sol–gel reactions in the presence of hexagonal boron nitride (h-BN) nanoparticles and low molecular weight aromatic compounds (ArHs) such as bisphenol AF (BPAF) and 1-(2-naphthyl)ethanol (Naph-EtOH) under alkaline conditions at room temperature to afford the corresponding fluorinated oligomeric silica/h-BN/ArHs nanocomposites [RF-(VM-SiO3/2)n-RF/h-BN/ArHs]. TG–DTA analyses and XRD spectra measurements show that the encapsulated ArHs in the fluorinated oligomeric silica/h-BN nanocomposites exhibit an amorphous structure, affording no weight loss corresponding to the contents of the ArHs in the nanocomposites even after calcination at 800°C, although the simple blend hybrids of the RF-(VM-SiO3/2)n-RF/h-BN nanocomposites and the original ArHs provide not only the crystal characteristic toward the ArHs but also a clear weight loss behavior in proportion to the contents of the ArHs in the blend hybrids after calcination at 800°C. 1H MAS NMR spectra, UV–Vis spectra, and fluorescent spectra of the RF-(VM-SiO2)n-RF/h-BN/ArHs nanocomposites obtained through the sol–gel reactions under alkaline conditions showed the presence of the ArHs in the nanocomposites, respectively.
