ThermodurcissablesIndex. décimale : 668.4 Plastiques, vinyles Résumé : This paper describes the development of thermoformed composite stringers with an 80 % improvement in crushing strength relative to basic thermoformed composite stringers.
The strength improvement is achieved through controlled migration of material within the stringer to produce variable-thickness corners. This novel, patent-pending technique enables weight and/or cost savings for stringers size by crushing loads.Note de contenu : - THERMOFORMED STRINGERS FOR RIB-STIFFENED STRUCTURES

Véhicules électriquesIndex. décimale : 668.4 Plastiques, vinyles Résumé : The rising voltages in electric vehicles are creating higher requirements on insulation materials. This is why PEEK is increasingly used for this purpose. A problem with this high-performance polymer used to be its adhesion to the secondary insulation material. An epoxy resin now promises to solve the issue. Note de contenu : - Seeking good adhesion to PEEK
- Clearly stronger adhesion
- Good resistanct to ATF
- Fig. 1 : PEEK magnet wire insulations are becoming increasingly popular in the high-voltage range. They are very resistant and can withstand high temperatures and voltages. This ensures higher reliability compared to the use of enameled wires
- Fig. 2 : Multi-layer and mono-layer magnet wire design with PEEK: the copper fill factor can clearly be raised if the enamel wire layer is eliminated
- Fig. 3 : Adhesion test method by Solvay for PEEK film and secondary insulation materials. The test clearly showed the better adhesion between PEEK and the ProPreg epoxy resin in comparison to PEEK and a standard polyester material for electric motors
- Fig. 4 : Peel force test results: The adhesion between PEEK and the epoxy resin is more than twice as strong as with PEEK and a standard polyesterEn ligne : https://drive.google.com/file/d/1g-Wv2q-n8UHsMY3QXN53ehoiasQuSNjC/view?usp=drive [...] Format de la ressource électronique : Permalink : https://e-campus.itech.fr/pmb/opac_css/index.php?lvl=notice_display&id=37301
