- Etudes in vitro : renforcement de l'énergie cellulaire
- Efficacité prouvée in vivo

Peau -- Soins et hygièneIndex. décimale : 668.5 Parfums et cosmétiques Résumé : In times of exhaustive lifestyles, we need to compensate the skin's high energy demand in order to keep skin's healthiness and radiance. Active, modern and conscious consumers thus strongly seek for energising and recharging cosmetic ingredients to maintain a radiant skin perfection with a glow of youth, even in periods of high intensity. HerbaGlow® NRG unites extracts of caper flower buds, mulberry leaves and rose roots in a preservative-free and self-preserving solvent system. The COSMOS-approved anti-ageing active targets the number and quality of mitochondria, which are the energy powerhouses of the cell. An extra boost of energy recharges tired-looking skin, yielding a fresh-looking, healthy and youthful glow. This makes the active ingredient a perfect fit for cosmetic concepts such as energycentric formulations, skin burnout treatments, and youth-activating as well as applications aiming to improve skin glow and radiance.

Visage -- Soins et hygièneIndex. décimale : 668.5 Parfums et cosmétiques Résumé : Skin cells are continuously exposed to environmental stresses, which makes them greatly reliant on large amounts of energy to combat cellular – and consequently skin – damage. As we age, cellular energy levels decline and the deficiencies in skin energy can result in premature skin ageing. By providing glycogen, the cells are given energy to use whenever it is needed and wherever it is needed, resulting in many beneficial effects for the skin. However, glycogen is usually isolated from animal sources. In this article a new plant-based glycogen is described, isolated from a special non-GMO sweetcorn, which is chemically identical to glycogen stored in animal cells. In vitro, the phytoglycogen was able to stimulate ATP production and cell metabolism, resulting in increased hyaluronic acid and collagen production. Clinically the topical application of the phytoglycogen provided fast and longlasting hydration effects, led to antiageing benefits and boosted the effects of hyaluronic acid. In summary, the safe and natural phytoglycogen is a multi-purpose cosmetic active, yielding excellent benefits for the skin. Note de contenu : - Glycogen : Densely packed energy for skin rejuvenation
