Polyéthylène téréphtalateIndex. décimale : 668.4 Plastiques, vinyles Résumé : Despite fluctuations in the quality of input materials, end products are expected to meet high quality standards, especially in the food sector. The wide range of products available on the fast-paced global PET packaging market calls for a high degree of versatility on the part of plastics converters. For this reason, it is necessary to have lines which have a short process chain capable of producing good quality and which can respond rapidly to different Note de contenu : - Changing requirements

Polyéthylène téréphtalateIndex. décimale : 677 Textiles Résumé : The draw-textured yarn (DTY) industry shows a clear trend towards microfilaments and dope-dyed products. Therefore key components of textile machines have ta be adapted to meet increasing demands from customers such as the automotive industry. Next generation ceramic friction discs show improved properties comparable to PU discs and thus meet there high standards. Note de contenu : - Fig. 1. Spindle with solid ceramic components

(Wikipedia)

In the IGF project No. 19585 N, novel antifouling finishes for outdoor textiles, such as sails and awnings, were developed on the basis of cerium oxide nanomaterials (nanoceria). The project was carried out by the German Research Foundation (IGF), Cerium oxide nanorods or nanoparticles were immobilized onto the surface of textiles, which have the ability to generate messenger molecules of micro-organisms due to their haloperoxidase activity that induce antibacterial efficiency and inhibit the biofilm formation.
