Produits naturelsIndex. décimale : 668.5 Parfums et cosmétiques Résumé : Highly Polymerised DeoxyRibonucleotide (HPDR) is a natural macromolecule from the sea and, thanks to its total innocuousness and high cutaneous activity, it belongs to the best active ingredients in the cosmetic industry. Its numerous properties enable it to be used for successful marketing operations. HPDR can improve the UV protection of toxic breakdown products. In addition to its free radical scavenging activity, HPDR can rebuild the cutaneaous damage with a high power of hydration and anti-dehydration. Associated with a specific cosmetic formula, the HPDR molecule enhances the protective capabilities within other active ingredients. Note de contenu : - Natural active against UV rays

TerminologieIndex. décimale : 668.5 Parfums et cosmétiques Résumé : Words "Natural" and "Organic" are more and more used on labels, advertising, publications, press articles, etc. to describe the special qualities of cosmetic, household and related products based on raw materials of natural origin are better and safer than those derived from chemical synthesis, especially those based on petrochemicals. The main problem in this issue is that neither of the two terms is precisely defined, especially in relation to products of the cosmetic and household industry. "Natural cosmetic" may mean anything what creative marketing can imagine. Although there are some works performed to clarify theses doubts, the economy behind production and certification of this group of products does not support the idea. This, however, creates a very ambiguous situation on the market and which is more important in legislation both internally created by the industry and officially issued by governments and international bodies. Tests d'efficacitéIndex. décimale : 668.5 Parfums et cosmétiques Résumé : In recent years, some products of plant origin have been shown to be effective chemotherapeutic agents demonstrating measurable biological activity without exerting undesirable side effects.
This article addresses whether some plants contain sufficient bioactive phtyochemicals that could function as ‘natural’ antiperspirants when applied from a topical formulation.
The terms antiperspirant and deodorant are often used interchangeably in publications, but this is confusing, as there are true differences between them, especially with respect to regulatory classification, functionality, and the types of ingredients currently used. The first step, therefore, is to briefly understand the current state of the art.Note de contenu : - ANTIPERSPIRANTS VERSUS DEODORANTS
