ViscoélasticitéTags : 'Contraction planaire' 3D 'Modèle Pom Pom' 'Ecoulement viscoélastique' Simulation Expériences Index. décimale : 532.05 Mécanique des fluides et des liquides - Dynamique (cinétique et cinématique) Résumé : Nous présentons quelques résultats numériques et expérimentaux de l’écoulement dans une contraction planaire pour un fluide viscoélastique décrit par le modèle Pom Pom. Le fluide est un polyéthylène basse densité, le PEBD IUPAC A, avec des branchements longs. Le principal résultat obtenu est que les vortex ne sont pas isolés de l’écoulement principal. On met en évidence numériquement et expérimentalement un mouvement des particules du plan de symétrie vers les parois ce qui signifie que l’écoulement est en réalité tri-dimensionnel. L’évolution du profil des vortex dans la direction de la largeur de la fente a été mesurée et comparée aux résultats de la simulation. De même, la différence des contraintes principales dans le plan de symétrie a été calculée et comparée aux résultats obtenus à partir des clichés de biréfringence. Les tendances et les prédictions quantitatives sont en assez bon accord avec l’expérience, ce qui valide l’utilisation du modèle Pom Pom pour la description du comportement rhéologique des polymères branchés. Les problèmes de suivi de particule associés aux modèles héréditaires sont évités et, à la différence des autres méthodes, le schéma numérique permet le calcul dans un maillage invariant au cours des itérations avec des conditions aux limites à la surface libre intégrées à l'ensemble des équations gouvernantes. Les résultats relatifs au gonflement, en situation axisymétrique, d'un polyéthylène IUPAC à 160°C représenté par une loi intégrale K-BKZ sont présentés et comparés à ceux de la littérature. Il faut aussi souligner les réductions de temps de calcul et de la place mémoire informatique. RhéologieIndex. décimale : 686.23 Impression Résumé : La qualité d'impression est une notion difficile à maîtriser. L'oeil est souvent utilisé en industrie comme outil permettant de juger la qualité d'un film imprimé sur support PVC. Afin d'atteindre un niveau supérieur de qualité, il est nécessaire de trouver un moyen pour quantifier la qualité d'impression et ainsi permettre d'atteindre soit une qualité dite « point par point », soit une qualité dite "all-over". Plusieurs éléments ont été utilisés pour cette quantification : une image en microscopie optique de l'échantillon, ainsi qu'une valeur d'intensité moyenne et d'homogénéité de couleur, que l'on obtient grâce à un rugosimètre confocal. Ainsi nous avons pu définir, pour un support mis en forme par calandrage et un support mis en forme par enduction, Les paramètres majeurs agissant sur la qualité d'impression. En termes de procédé, il apparaît que la vitesse d'impression et la pression du cylindre presseur influencent grandement l'imprimabilité. Au niveau des matériaux utilisés, la viscosité et la tension de surface de l'encre ont un effet important alors que, en terme de support, un film calandré sera plus sensible aux variations des différents paramètres qu'un film enduit. SiliceLa silice est la forme naturelle du dioxyde de silicium (SiO2) qui entre dans la composition de nombreux minéraux.
La silice existe à l'état libre sous différentes formes cristallines ou amorphes et à l'état combiné dans les silicates, les groupes SiO2 étant alors liés à d'autres atomes (Al : Aluminium, Fe : Fer, Mg : Magnésium, Ca : Calcium, Na : Sodium, K : Potassium...).
Les silicates sont les constituants principaux du manteau et de l'écorce terrestre. La silice libre est également très abondante dans la nature, sous forme de quartz, de calcédoine et de terre de diatomée. La silice représente 60,6 % de la masse de la croûte terrestre continentale.
ThixotropieIndex. décimale : 532.05 Mécanique des fluides et des liquides - Dynamique (cinétique et cinématique) Résumé : Une étude compréhensive des phénomènes de thixotropie a été réalisée sur quelques produits industriels et sur des suspensions modèles présentant des phénomènes de fluidification sous cisaillement partiellement réversibles. Des mesures de contrainte de cisaillement ont été faites à gradient de vitesse constant. La mesure de la vitesse de déstructuration, l'observation de la restructuration ayant lieu pendant divers temps de repos et de la modification du comportement rhéologique en présence de vibrations nous ont permis de proposer une interprétation basée sur la formation, lors de l'agitation, d'agglomérats denses et par conséquent d'une diminution de la concentration de la suspension entre ces agglomérats.
