Solutions aqueuses (chimie)Index. décimale : 541.34 Solutions Résumé : Notre étude entreprise à l'aide d'un rhéomètre à contrainte imposée porte sur l'analyse du comportement rhéologique en mode écoulement de suspensions aqueuses concentrées de kaolin. Ce comportement dépend pour une large part de la nature morphologique fortement anisotrope de ces particules mais aussi de leur charge de bord et de face varient notamment en fonction du pH et de la force ionique. L'allure des rhéogrammes d'écoulement et les variations des seuils associés renseignent donc sur les modes d'association et la nature des liaisons interparticulaires. L'évolution des seuils en fonction du pH est caractérisée par une alternance de pics et de creux que l'on peut attribuer à un passage progressif du mode d'association bord-face au mode bord-bord. La variation des seuils en fonction de la force ionique passe par un maximum dans un intervalle de concentration en électrolyte où la floculation est maximale. Ce phénomène s'explique par une transition progressive de la nature des forces interparticulaires, d'un état collectif à un état localisé. L'analyse des rhéogrammes d'écoulement à très faible gradient de vitesse corrobore cette interprétation. Note de contenu : - Introduction

ThixotropieIndex. décimale : 532.05 Mécanique des fluides et des liquides - Dynamique (cinétique et cinématique) Résumé : Une argile de type hectorite, constituée de particules discotiques de taille nanométrique, utilisée dans les formulations cosmétiques et pharmaceutiques, a été étudiée par la combinaison de mesures de diffusion de différents rayonnements (neutrons, lumière) et de mesures rhéométriques. L'origine de la transition sol-gel et du développement d'un seuil de contrainte, provient de la formation d'amas de la taille du micromètre, associés en une masse fractale d'une dimension croissante avec la fraction volumique en particules. L'évolution du comportement rhéologique de la phase gel a été étudiée en fonction du temps de vieillissement et du contenu ionique. Un accroissement de ces deux paramètres entraîne une augmentation de la dimension fractale, ce qui se traduit par une densification de la structure des gels et une augmentation du seuil de contrainte et des modules viscoélastiques de la dispersion. RhéologieIndex. décimale : 668.3 Adhésifs et produits semblables Résumé : Deux adhésifs acryliques sont étudiés, dans le but de déterminer l'influence des propriétés rhéométriques et surfaciques sur leur comportement adhésif. L'un est adhésif légèrement réticulé tandis que le second est non réticulé. Les comportements en cisaillement et en élongation sont présentés et les différences sont analysées.
Ensuite nous étudions les courbes de pelage de ces adhésifs sur un substrat de Pyrex TM. Différents types de rupture sont obtenus (cohésive et adhésive).
Du fait de la complexité des mécanismes mis en jeu, nous proposons une explication qualitative des phénomènes. Langues : Français (fre) Catégories : Glycérine Le glycérol, ou glycérine, est un composé chimique de formule HOH2C–CHOH–CH2OH. C'est un liquide incolore, visqueux et inodore au goût sucré, utilisé dans de nombreuses compositions pharmaceutiques. Sa molécule possède trois hydroxyles correspondant à trois fonctions alcool responsables de sa solubilité dans l'eau et de sa nature hygroscopique. Un résidu glycérol constitue l'articulation centrale de tous les lipides de la classe des triglycérides et des phosphoglycérides.
PROPRIETES PHYSIQUES : Le glycérol se présente sous la forme d'un liquide transparent, visqueux, incolore, inodore, faiblement toxique si ingéré (mais laxatif à haute dose), au goût sucré.
Le glycérol peut se dissoudre dans les solvants polaires grâce à ses trois groupes hydroxyles. Il est miscible dans l'eau et l'éthanol ; et insoluble dans le benzène, le chloroforme et le tétrachlorométhane.
Son affinité avec l'eau le rend également hygroscopique, et du glycérol mal conservé (hors dessicateur ou mal fermé) se dilue en absorbant l'humidité de l'air.
- PROPRIETES CHIMIQUES : Dans les organismes vivants, le glycérol est un composant important des glycérides (graisses et huiles) et des phospholipides. Quand le corps utilise les graisses stockées comme source d'énergie, du glycérol et des acides gras sont libérés dans le sang.
- DESHYDRATATION : La déshydratation du glycérol est faite à chaud, en présence d'hydrogénosulfite de potassium (KHSO3) et produit de l'acroléine
- ESTERIFICATION : L'estérification du glycérol conduit à des (mono, di ou tri) glycérides.
- AUTRES PROPRIETES : Le glycérol a un goût sucré de puissance moitié moindre que le saccharose, son pouvoir sucrant est de 0,56-0,64 à poids égal13.
Le glycérol a des propriétés laxatives et diurétiques faibles.
Comme d'autres composés chimiques, tels que le benzène, son indice de réfraction (1,47) est proche de celui du verre commun (~1,50), permettant de rendre "invisibles" des objets en verre qui y seraient plongés.
Mélanges (chimie)
PolyacrylamideLe polyacrylamide est un polymère (-CH2-CH(-CONH2)-) formé à partir d'acrylamide. Il peut être réticulé en incorporant dans le mélange de polymérisation un dérivé bi-fonctionnel de l'acrylamide : le N,N'-méthylène-bis-acrylamide (CH2=CH-CO-NH-)2CH2.
Le polyacrylamide, contrairement à l'acrylamide qui est neurotoxique, n'est pas toxique mais il doit être manipulé avec précaution car il peut contenir des résidus d'acrylamide. c'est un gel hautement absorbant. Sous forme de poudre, il se dilue dans l'eau pour former un gel visqueux après agitation vigoureuse.
Des substances ioniques telles le sel permettent au polyacrylamide de libérer les substances absorbées.
L'intérêt de ce polymère peut être apprécié dans son caractère de fluide non newtonien, et constitue un bon exemple d'application de l'effet Weissenberg: le fluide, soumis à l'action d'un agitateur magnétique remonte au centre du récipient au lieu de se plaquer sur les côtés, comme l'aurait fait un fluide newtonien classique, comme l'eau.

Ils ont été caractérisés par microscopie, calorimétrie différentielle à balayage, thermogravimétrie, tenue mécanique et rhéométrie. Pour les films obtenus par coulée-évaporation, on a noté une stabilisation thermique des modules pour des températures supérieures à la température de fusion du PEO. Ce comportement est attribué à la formation d'un réseau rigide de cellulose percolée dans la matrice PEO, aboutissant à un comportement viscoplastique du nanocomposite. Pour les films extrudés, l'effet de renfort apporté par les nano-cristaux de cellulose est considérablement réduit, suggérant que ce procédé de mise en forme ne permet pas, ou limite, la formation du réseau de NCC percolés dans la matrice PEO. On a cherché à expliquer ce comportement au moyen de caractérisations en microscopie, de mesures de tenue mécanique et de l’étude du comportement en écoulement.
