Spectroscopie de réflectanceIndex. décimale : 667.3 Teinture et impression des tissus Résumé : In this paper, the influence of spectral datasets and the method of selection of the corresponding feature vectors on the compression and reconstruction of data is scrutinised. To fulfil this aim, two different sets of reflectance data with the least spectral similarity are selected from different sets of spectral databases and the most optimal eigenvectors are chosen using different strategies. Six and 12 arrangements of eigenvectors obtained from different individual or combined databases are then used for the compression of reflectance spectra of learning sets, as well as those that have not been used in extraction of eigenvectors. The validity of the desired reduced subspaces is assessed by computing the spectral errors between the actual and the reconstructed spectra of samples of learning sets. Moreover, the efficiencies of designed compressed subspaces are evaluated through the numbers of out-of-range reconstructed spectra, as well as the spectral and colorimetric deviations between the actual and compressed-reconstructed reflectance spectra of samples of datasets that were not employed in learning sequence. The results show that in the restricted subspaces, i.e. six-dimensional subspace, the most effective results are achieved when the reduced subspace is created from a collection of two separate sets of eigenvectors of two different datasets with the maximum degree of dissimilarity, and the reduced spaces that have been made from six eigenvectors of individual datasets lead to higher errors. Titre : Orthogonal experiment on the surface quality of carbon fiber reinforced plastic cut by abrasive water jet Type de document : texte imprimé Année de publication : 2020 Article en page(s) : p. 69-76 Note générale : Bibliogr.
(Wikipedia)

Surfaces (technologie)Index. décimale : 668.4 Plastiques, vinyles Résumé : The abrasive water jet (AWJ) is an immensely popular tool to machine hard-to-cut materials. Taking the surface roughness as the metric of cutting quality, this paper designs and implements an orthogonal experiment for the AWJ cutting of carbon fiber reinforced plastic (CFRP), a lightweight composite widely adopted for high-precision applications. Four factors that affect cutting quality, namely, target distance, pump pressure, nozzle traversal speed, and abradant flow rate, were selected, and divided into five levels for the orthogonal design. Since different factors differ in the value on the same level, the orthogonal design was improved by the quasi-level method. The results of the orthogonal experiment show that the nozzle traversal speed exerted the greatest effect on cutting quality, followed in turn by pump pressure, abradant flow rate, and target distance; the optimal cutting quality could be achieved at the target distance of 7mm, the abradant flow rate of 5g/s, the pump pressure of 340MPa, and the nozzle traversal speed of 200mm/min. The research results provide experimental evidence for high-quality AWJ cutting of the CFRP. Revêtements:PeintureIndex. décimale : 667.6 Peintures Résumé : The paint shop is a critical process in many industries, including automotive, aerospace, furniture, and consumer goods manufacturing. Ensuring high-quality paint finish is essential to meet customer requirements and maintain a good reputation in the market. However, pai nt defects such as color inconsistency, runs, sags, orange peel, and adhesion issues can occur due to various factors, including equipment settings, process parameters, material quality, and operator skills. Therefore, implementing quality improvement measures in the paint shop is crucial to reduce paint defects, improve process efficiency, and achieve customer satisfaction.
