(Wikipedia)

In recent years, bio-renewable based materials have been increasingly explored as a promising replacement for petroleum-based ones used as building blocks for polymers. This trend is mainly driven by the increasing awareness and directives for the sustainable development of polymeric materials, including coatings. The lower carbon footprint compared to their petroleum counterparts and depleting known resources of petroleum makes bio-renewable materials very important for future development. In the world of coatings, the idea has already made its debut in the form of environment friendly technologies-low or no solvent, high solids, hyperbranched, water borne and UV curable coatings, utilising monomers/polymers derived from renewable resources. However, it is very important to meticulously design polymers based on bio-renewable building blocks by leveraging their unique chemistry and functionality, to meet the demanding requirements of the final products at acceptable costs. This paper aims at exploring opportun ities for developing resins or coatings that incorporate elements of sustainability in their design by utilizing green materials or processes white offering desired performance in a variety of applications. Revêtements:PeintureIndex. décimale : 667.6 Peintures Résumé : The paint shop is a critical process in many industries, including automotive, aerospace, furniture, and consumer goods manufacturing. Ensuring high-quality paint finish is essential to meet customer requirements and maintain a good reputation in the market. However, pai nt defects such as color inconsistency, runs, sags, orange peel, and adhesion issues can occur due to various factors, including equipment settings, process parameters, material quality, and operator skills. Therefore, implementing quality improvement measures in the paint shop is crucial to reduce paint defects, improve process efficiency, and achieve customer satisfaction. As a measure of cost saving, I taught all my students to introduce a separate product in domestic sector architectural fin ishes and that is a different coating for ceiling. Except one student, no one entered paint manufacture though most of thenn are employed in paint industry in high positions. He too has not used this idea in spite of repeated reminders. Total number of students I taught was about 130 in 14 years due to very low intake in UDCT Paint Technology course. When I see the attendance in IPA and ISSPA conferences, I am amazed to know the number of young people involved in paint manufacture. The number of attendees was in excess of 1500 in both gatherings put together. I thought I will throw this idea for the entire paint industry for the benefit of the user and entrepreneur alike. Since mites are the primary cause of atopic dermatitis, asthma, allergy disorders, etc., the general public is interested in ways to control mites efficiently and safely. Chemicals like pesticides and repellents can be used to control mites. However, this method does not positively reduce the number of mites. There is a demand for methods and instruments that can readily control mites without using chemicals as much as possible because people who are chemically sensitive are concerned about the consequences of chemicals. Regarding hot melt pressure sensitive adhesives, so far, studies have been conducted on compositions that form an adhesive layer for small creature traps with increased adhesive strength in order to enhance the performance of catching and sticking creatures such as cockroaches, flies and rats. Hot-melt pressure sensitive adhesives offer advantages over their contemporary aqueous and solvent-based adhesives like low volatile organic compounds, 100% solid, fast drying, faster setting etc. and it used as an insect and rodent traps adhesive. Here we reviewed, insect and rodent traps based on hot melt pressure sensitive adhesives. Note de contenu : - Introduction : Hot melt adhesives
