First, the basic performance of the cured films obtained was evaluated using Chinese National Standards. This environmentally friendly antifouling coating has excellent physical properties, with a pencil hardness of above 5H, an adhesion of grade 1, impact strength above 45 cm, and good resistance to alkali and salt but not acid. Then antifouling evaluation was carried out by the leaching rate of antifoulant, and by immersing samples in natural sea water, respectively. The results from the leaching rate of N-vanillylnonanamide from the antifouling coating shows that the release rate of 45 μg/m2 day of the coating with 15% antifoulant is steady after a slight decrease, and this coating can effectively prevent marine organisms attaching for 6 months, which is also evidenced by field tests in natural sea water. There are two main reasons for this dominance: the good cost/benefit ratio of rubber/resin mixtures and the investments in solvent recovery systems that have been made. Disadvantages of solvent-based PSAs are the environmental hazards, high energy processing, lower coating speeds at high coat weights and poor aging resistance.
Hot melts, mostly SIS and SBS-block copolymers, now hold a 15% market share in Western Europe. Their main disadvantages are the lack of aging resistance (due to double bonds) and low heat resistance.
Aqueous dispersions make up about 38% of the market volume today. Growth has mostly concentrated on paper labels. Problems arise from moisture sensitivity, high processing energy, low coating speeds at high coat weights and insufficient adhesive performance for tapes.
Because of the disadvantages of known products and technologies, there is a market for PSAs that meet the following requirement profile: resistance to aging, environmental safety, low-cost processing and good adhesive performance at the higher coat weights needed for adhesive tapes. This list of needs led to the concept of UV crosslinkable acrylic hot melt polymers.En ligne : https://drive.google.com/file/d/1jDtF0VmLdKcglFNIGfb4RYUtk0z5v8xr/view?usp=drive [...] Format de la ressource électronique : Permalink : https://e-campus.itech.fr/pmb/opac_css/index.php?lvl=notice_display&id=20388

Tackifiant (adhésifs)Index. décimale : 668.3 Adhésifs et produits semblables Résumé : Solvent-based, water-based and hot melt adhesives have a long history of success for pressure sensitive adhesive (PSA) tape and label applications. These technologies are seemingly well entrenched with adequate performance and low cost. Several market trends, however, are opening up new opportunities for UV curable PSAs.
In contrast to solvent-based adhesives, UV curable PSAs contain no fugitive solvent and are therefore VOC compliant. In contrast to hot melts, UV curable adhesives offer a crosslinked network upon cure and therefore are capable of higher heat resistance and plasticizer resistance. Finally, in contrast to water-based technologies, UV curable PSAs offer immediate cure and can be formulated to exhibit much better blushing resistance upon exposure to water. The lack of a need for drying capability is also a significant advantage of UV curable adhesives over water-based technology.Note de contenu : - Market drivers

The UV-curable prepolymers are silicone epoxy benzoic acrylate (SEBA) and alicyclic hydrocarbon epoxy acrylate (ACEA). The coloring materials are disperse red urethane acrylate (RUA), disperse blue urethane acrylate (BUA), acridine yellow urethane acrylate (YUA), or their mixtures. The relationships of component-property of UV-curable, special coding inks were studied. The typical UV-curable, special coding inks were used to color the optical fibers.

Using the advantages of uniform and accurate control of applied pressure of the magnetic disk, this study used the magnetic roller soft mold embossing and UV-curable technique for replicating microstructure patterns, resulting in a more mature micro-nano embossing technology and application. The experimental results showed that the new magnetic roller soft mold preparation method can accurately cast and replicate micro-nano structures of Polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS) composite magnetic iron powder, and the magnetic disk can impose uniform pressure to effectively implement complete filling during the rolling process. This innovative process provides a simple and rapid molding mechanism, which significantly improves the microstructure pattern replication technique.
