Attractive all-round talents / Peter Wippenbeck in KUNSTSTOFFE INTERNATIONAL, Vol. 100, N° 12 (12/2010)
[article]
Titre : Attractive all-round talents Type de document : texte imprimé Auteurs : Peter Wippenbeck, Auteur Année de publication : 2011 Article en page(s) : p. 19-22 Langues : Anglais (eng) Catégories : Moules d'injection Index. décimale : 668.4 Plastiques, vinyles Résumé : Mold Technology - Believe it or not, the K 2010 catalog contained 228 exhibitors connected with mold making. It is an almost unmanageable wealth of information, and, even if you wander through the Internet display rooms, it is still necessary to make a preselection. In any case, the abundance of the offering shows the importance of the industry, which usually operates in the background of spectacular events – though it produces plenty of inspiring ideas itself. Note de contenu : - Maximum automation
- Microcavities and angled parts
- Innovations in standards
- Hot runners - a long-running success
- Laterally "around the corner"

Hors autoclave (technologie)Index. décimale : 668.4 Plastiques, vinyles Résumé : In the on-going commitment to reduce weight even further in automotive structures, many OEMs and suppliers are focusing on implementing the best and most cost-effective processing techniques to manufacture mass-produced, epoxy composite vehicle parts. Here, Klaus Ritter, Head of the Centre of Excellence for Composites at Huntsman Advanced Materials, looks at how the company is helping to optimise the latest out-of-autoclave manufacturing techniques, working to match demands for excellent component properties with shorter production cycles in mass production. Huntsman Advanced Materials has a long heritage of pioneering technologically advanced epoxy systems. In the automotive sector, the company's unrivalled legacy of technical innovation and epoxy composites applications spans from the super car market to structural applications on luxury marques and more recently, mass-produced vehicle parts. Technologie médicaleIndex. décimale : 668.4 Plastiques, vinyles Résumé : Medical technology - Industrial sterilization of a plastic for disposable medical applications in accordance with scientific criteria usually requires a costly, separate production step. Given the temperature and pressure conditions that obtain in the injection molding process, auto-sterile manufacturing of medical devices would be very efficient. New research results relating to validation of direct sterilization of the injection molding process are now available. Note de contenu : - Monitoring contamination
