On 2nd December 2016, the Annual General Meeting of the Raw Materials Specialist Group (former West Regional Group) took place in Gütersloh under the leadership of the group's Chairman, Kai Mann (Brenntag GmbH). Six presentations examined current issues in the fields of laundry detergents, cleaning products, cosmetics and perfumery. The focus was primarily on surfactants, biofilms, microplastics, soil-release polymers, NMR analysis and validation of fragrance-containing formulations. A further presentation explored the opportunities and benefits of brain research for marketing campaigns. |
