Revêtements:PeintureIndex. décimale : 667.9 Revêtements et enduits Résumé : Polyisocyanates not only crosslink polymers, but also influence their resistance to damage. Studies of the recovery behaviour of aliphatic polyurethane systems after scratching provide the basis for an energy-specific recovery index. This indicates the self-healing capacity of polyurethane systems, which is related to the polymer shape-memory effect. Note de contenu : - Hydrogen bonds enhance scratch resistance
- Dynamic mechanical analysis evaluates hydrogen bonds
- Three isocyanates studied in two coating chemistries
- Highest functionality isocyanate gives best reflow
- Steric hindrance is significant for recovery indexEn ligne : https://drive.google.com/file/d/1mLLkf5dd-6bLTjfNmybssFPHa8knjbky/view?usp=drive [...] Format de la ressource électronique : Permalink : https://e-campus.itech.fr/pmb/opac_css/index.php?lvl=notice_display&id=24162

Revêtements:PeintureIndex. décimale : 667.9 Revêtements et enduits Résumé : Formulating an ink, paint or coating dispersion is a complex challenge. Understanding and optimising how the physical and electrostatic aspects of the colloidal components in a suspension impact bulk performance is critical to meeting stringent end-use performance targets and ensuring the product delivers the desired finish. However, the need to test large numbers of samples means that manual analysis can be both time consuming and the results operator dependent. This article explores the benefits of fully automated, high throughput particle size and formulation stability measurements and presents data to show how a new autosampler for the widely used Zetasizer Nano particle characterisation system supports improved analytical efficiency. Note de contenu : - Importance of particle characterisation
- The importance of multivariate analysis
- Automating analysis
