Revêtement monocomposantIndex. décimale : 667.9 Revêtements et enduits Résumé : 1K moisture cure solvent-based PU is one component permanent elastic, alkali resistant, liquid-applied polyurethane coating that cures to a seamless, high elastic waterproofing membrane. It is used for long-lasting waterproofing coating on flat surfaces such as balcony, roof, terrace, wet area or deck that protects the building structure reliably and on a long-term basis, even under the most difficult conditions. Due to its superior performance properties and ease of applications makes it the system of choice. This product solves waterproofing problems under unfavorable conditions such as stagnating water, frost, humidity and weather exposure, etc.
In India, 1K PU Waterproofing solution are mainly imported and several variants & brands are available. Construction being highly unorganized sector, advance planning for the inventory and lead time is the biggest pain point for the customers who uses imported grades. For customers, localized solution- Made In India will have an added advantage with respect to flexibility in inventory management & also the cost effectiveness tilt the material reaches actual site.Note de contenu : - Developing "make in India" 1K PU waterproofing

Paint manufacturers are increasingly using colour pastes
in as many coating formulations as possible. Pastes can be blended with one another or added to binders and other components and thus incorporated into a paint formulation in a relatively short time. The mixing of small batches, elimination of expensive cleaning operations and the reduction of the raw material inventories, machiner) occupancy and space requirements, leads to lower manufacturing costs.
CONCLUSION : Allnex has extended its range of grinding media with the introduction of the truc universal grinding medium Additol XW 6565 for both solventborne and waterborne decorative paints. Additol XW 6565 joins the other grinding media available for water-based automotive and protective coatings and solvent-based industrial systems.
Additol XW 6565 clearly brings advantages for the manufacture of pigment pastes and paints in the decorative market.
- Effective in waterborne and solventborne systems
- Cost-efficient manufacturing due to cycle time and inventory reduction and equipment flexibility
- High pigment colour efficiency
- Higher pigment loading at moderate viscosities for easy incorporation
- Improved anti-floating effect, colour and paste stability, and compatibility with solventborne resins e Emulsifier-free
- Improved water and weather resistance in exterior paints
- Ultra-low VOCs
- Good performance in POS tinting machines.En ligne : https://drive.google.com/file/d/1Up5aZBt0p6QexM-9ohqr0gMloQzGJSz1/view?usp=drive [...] Format de la ressource électronique : Permalink : https://e-campus.itech.fr/pmb/opac_css/index.php?lvl=notice_display&id=19317

There is a continuous trend in this industry to move the technology from the so-called conventional paint to high-solids coatings and, more recently, to ultra-high-solids coatings. This change not only brings some technical challenges that need to be addressed by the formulators, but it also brings benefits such as lower VOCs, improved cure under adverse conditions, and the possibility to increase dry film thickness without having issues of solvent entrapment.
This article will review the basics of high-solids epoxy coatings compared to conventional epoxy technologies, and describe the fundamental technical differences.Note de contenu : - Table 1 : Example formulation and properties of conventional and high-solids epoxy coatings

Titre : Highly versatile aluminium flake : For water, solvent and ultra-low VOC coatings and inks Type de document : texte imprimé Auteurs : Dieter Groβschartner, Auteur ; Ingo Giesinger, Auteur ; Jonathan Doll, Auteur ; Jason Eyink, Auteur Année de publication : 2018 Article en page(s) : p. 22-28 Note générale : Bibliogr.

As a result, ink and coating formulators have to balance safety, regulatory, and emission standards while meeting their customers’ performance requirements. For low-VOC, metallic formulations, aluminum pigments are used to impart a desirable silver or metallic effect with excellent hiding power. In these applications, aluminum is typically supplied as either a dry powder or waterborne preparation, however, stringent safety measures are required to prevent dust explosions and corrosion, which can release hydrogen gas. In this article, a versatile, VOC-free aluminum preparation is introduced that can be formulated into a variety of solvent- and waterborne inks and coatings while directly addressing the aforementioned safety concerns. Minimum explosion energy (MIE) and gassing data, as well as formulation and performance data are presented for both water- and solvent-based systems.
