Index. décimale : 668.4 Plastiques, vinyles Résumé : Joining by Functionalization - Through the use of single-layer adhesion-promoting films or prior plasma treatment of the surfaces to be joined, laser transmission welding allows dissimilar, fundamentally non-weldable thermoplastic combinations to be joined. SouduresIndex. décimale : 668.4 Plastiques, vinyles Résumé : Evosys Laser GmbH has patented a new variant of laser welding that combines two laser beam sources and wavelengths. This approach is not limited to contour welding, but is particularly aimed at significantly reducing welding times and extending the process window in quasi-simultaneous welding. Note de contenu : - Better process control through selective energy input
- Test setup with two plates
- Experiment to reduce the welding time with plates made of PBT
- PC in practical test for weld seam strength
- Welding time is halved, tensil strength increases by one third
