Matières plastiques -- Recyclage
PolyéthylèneIndex. décimale : 668.4 Plastiques, vinyles Résumé : growing number of companies and industrial sectors would like to use recyclates for their products. However, the application is frequently still confronted with considerable difficulties. And the extension of recycling to other fields and sectors also poses new questions. An overview of the current status and associated technical solutions was provided in conference “Forum Plastic Recyclates” at the end of March. Note de contenu : - Stabilization for PP and PE

Traction (mécanique)Index. décimale : 668.4 Plastiques, vinyles Résumé : The use of microwaves to initiate the curing process of resins is well known. Liquid resins that cure at high temperatures need an increase in temperature to start the polymerization reaction and finally become a solid material. Several methods can be used to increase the temperature, such as conventional heating, ultraviolet radiation, electron beam or microwave radiation. Microwave (MW) curing has two main advantages : heating is volumetric and homogeneous, and 2) curing time is reduced to seconds (so that VOC emissions are also reduced). Traction (mécanique)Index. décimale : 668.4 Plastiques, vinyles Résumé : In case of thermoset Sheet Molding Compounds, the density of the resin paste can be reduced up to 22 % by replacing conventional filler materials such as calcium carbonate with bio-based filler materials – with consistent mechanical properties. This was proved on filler materials, which are by-products of plant-based oils and timber production. Note de contenu : - SMC-processing by compression molding process
