The films of nanostructures of PVA/PEG/In2O3 were synthesized by casting solution technique. The dielectric characters of PVA/PEG/In2O3 nanostructures were determined. Results expressed that the dielectric parameters of PVA/PEG were rise with rise in the In2O3 NPs ratio. The performance of ε', ε" and σAC with frequency illustrated that the ε' and ε" reduced whereas the σAC rises with rise in frequency. The final results demonstrated the PVA/PEG/In2O3 nanostructures may be suitable in various electrical nanodevices. ThermogravimétrieIndex. décimale : 668.3 Adhésifs et produits semblables Résumé : Challenges posed by low energy substrates, environmental regulations, product integrity and economic pressure place demands on adhesive performance that are increasingly difficult to meet using traditional technologies. PVOH-stabilized vinyl acetate/acrylics present a new approach to satisfying these demands. While VAAs have found initial acceptance in applications requiring Tgs below the range accessible with VAE technology, this work has demonstrated that VAAs offer advantages even at higher Tgs. Rovace HP-3442 exhibits an attractive combination of adhesion to a wide range of difficult-to-bond substrates, cohesive strength comparable to VAEs and good creep resistance. The scope of this study has been the performance of the copolymer backbones, but other advantages of using VAAs become apparent when compounding begins. PVOH stabilization gives the VAAs excellent mechanical stability and compatibility with common formulating raw materials. The incorporation of carboxyl functionality provides reactive groups for crosslinking chemistry. And the vinyl acrylic copolymers are compatible with a range of tackifiers and other additives that provide added versatility and flexibility for formulating to meet specific performance requirements (3). Couple these benefits with the economics of vinyl acetate copolymers and one can see low VAAS are the-state-of-the-art in waterborne adhesive emulsions. Note de contenu : - ADHESION VS.COHESION

Solutions aqueuses (chimie)Index. décimale : 667.9 Revêtements et enduits Résumé : Hardness, porosity, and microstructure of film-forming in polyvinyl acetate/alumina coatings from aqueous suspensions were investigated with a minimum film formation temperature (MFFT) bar, Vickers hardness tester, and scanning electron microscopy (SEM). The hardness of opaque composite coatings (alumina:latex = 1:2 by volume) increased abruptly at the MFFT of the latex, suggesting that the alumina particles did not change the latex film formation behavior and that the hardness measurement is an alterative to the optical criterion. Studies of coatings from latex particles that were smaller or larger than a common size of ceramic particles indicated that the composition of maximum hardness, called critical Vickers hardness concentration (CVHC), matched conventional critical pigment volume concentration (CPVC). More efficient polymer binding in the coatings from the smaller latex gave them higher peak hardness and CPVC. Permalink : https://e-campus.itech.fr/pmb/opac_css/index.php?lvl=notice_display&id=5563

Polyéthylène glycolIndex. décimale : 668.4 Plastiques, vinyles Résumé : In this work, casting method was used to fabricate the polyvinyl alcohol (PVA)/ poly ethylene glycol (PEG) nanocomposite with different content of titanium nitride nanoparticle (TiN NPs). This nanocomposite was analyzed to use a Spectrophotometry with a spectral region of 200-800 nm. The absorption enhances when the added TiN NPs to the polymeric matrix which may be used for various applications such as optoelectronic detector. The optical energy gap for indirect transition (allowed and forbidden) decreased as TiN NPs content increases. Moreover, all optical constants have been determined.
