Selon la composition de leur chaîne squelettique, les polyamides sont classés en aliphatiques, semi-aromatiques et aromatiques. Selon le type d'unités répétitives, les polyamides peuvent être des homopolymères ou des copolymères.

Notably, the finer particles were able to approach the metal surface more closely when formulated into a primer. ThermodurcissablesIndex. décimale : 667.9 Revêtements et enduits Résumé : This paper focuses on current trends in the flame retardancy of epoxy-based thermosets. This review examines the incorporation of additives in these polymers, including synergism effects. Reactive flame-retardants—which are incorporated in the polymer backbone—are reported and the use of fire-retardant epoxy coatings for materials protection is also considered. And also explains fire retardant mechanism of nanofiller to develop more efficient fire-retardant nano composites. Actually nanofillers are carbon nanotubes and clay which are attractive materials because addition of small amount of nanofillers can improve mechanical, thermal, electrical properties of plastics without changing the processability. However nanofillers themselves do not show excellent fire retardancy, Nanofilers should combine with other fire retardants. Some combination shows positive synergy and some case shows negative synergy effect. Then effective combination of nanofillers and conventional fire retardants are discussed in this article.
