Silicate d'aluminium
Index. décimale : 667.9 Revêtements et enduits Résumé : Alumina-silica composite coatings were prepared on the surface of graphite paper by chemical vapor deposition using AlCl3/SiCl4/H2/CO2 as precursor in the temperature range of 300 to 550°C. X-ray diffraction (XRD) and scanning electron microscopy (SEM) were used to examine the phase composition and the microstructure of the coating, respectively. The results indicated that a dense, uniform, and adherent alumina-silica composite coating can be prepared on graphite paper substrate by chemical vapor deposition at 550°C. Alumina-silica composite coating is composed of particles or nodules of varying size. Each particle is often composed of a number of finer particles. The phases of the 550°C composite coating include gamma-alumina and amorphous silica. The elemental chlorine content in the composite coating decreases with increasing deposition temperature. The surfaces of the alumina-silica composite coatings are affected by deposition temperature. There are some obvious micro-cracks in the 300°C composite coating, which are attributed to a mismatch of the coefficient of thermal expansion between composite coating and graphite paper. The 550°C alumina-silica composite coating can be completely turned into mullite after heat-treatment at 1350°C for 0.5 hr in argon atmosphere. The crystal morphologies and single crystal structures were measured. The various packing and supramolecular interactions were described. D1 formed stellate crystals. The two benzene rings bilateral to the azo unit were not coplanar. Their dihedral angle was 75.72°. They were linked by the azo unit and were twisted. The coupling-component N-substituted benzyl and benzene rings were not coplanar. The chemical structure was not the typical azo structure. A dimeric packing mode was formed between adjacent molecules in a head-to-head and tail-to-tail manner. One molecule was inserted between two dimeric molecules in a head-to-tail manner. D2 formed globe crystals. The isothiazole and benzene rings of the azo unit were coplanar, with the typical ?–? conjugated structure. The benzene rings of the azo unit and the coupling-component N-substituted benzyl were vertical. Their torsion angle was 179.9°. To study the effect of nano-coated pigment, surfactant and humectant on ink-jet printability, the trajectory of droplets with different pigment ink composition was monitored. The effect of ink formulation on the accuracy of printing process of the pigment ink was discussed by study on line width and edge contour of printed patterns. Experimental results indicated that the additives and properties of the pigment ink had a great influence on droplet formation and precise positioning of the printed patterns. The optimal composition for the pigment ink as following: nano-coated pigment dispersion was 20% w/w, surfactant (S-465) was 1.5% w/w, humectant (diethylene glycol) was 30% w/w and defoamer (FB-50) was 0.1% w/w. The prepared pigment ink exhibited excellent freeze–thaw, thermal and centrifugal stability. In addition, the optimal formula was beneficial to form a stable droplet and obtain high precision patterns. solvantsIndex. décimale : 667.3 Teinture et impression des tissus Résumé : KH560-modified SiO2 was prepared using tetraethyl orthosilicate (TEOS) and ?-(2,3-epoxypropoxy) propytrimethoxysilane (KH560) by the sol–gel method and then coloured with CI Reactive Blue 4 (X-BR) to prepare coloured nanoscale SiO2. The antisolvent performance and the results of cross-polarisation/magic angle spinning 13C nuclear magnetic resonance and Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy showed that the reaction of X-BR with KH560-modified SiO2 is a two-step process : X-BR is firstly adsorbed by KH560-modified SiO2 via van der Waals forces, and then nucleophilic substitution occurs between dichloro triazine and the epoxy group. The grafting ratio of X-BR on KH560-modified SiO2 reached 95% under optimum conditions, i.e. a mass ratio of KH560 to TEOS of 20%, a temperature of 40 °C, a pH of 8.5, and a reaction time of 5 h. X-ray diffraction analysis and transmission electron microscopy showed that the coloured nanoscale SiO2 was amorphous, with a mean diameter of 216 nm. Experimental application showed that the coloured nanoscale SiO2 had excellent stability to solvents and alkaline solution, and the absorptive capacity of the coloured nanoscale SiO2 in the 200–400 nm region was higher than that of X-BR. The light fastness of the coloured nanoscale SiO2 reached 5–6 grade. Note de contenu : - EXPERIMENTAL : Materials - Preparation of coloured nanoscale SiO2 - Printing - Characterisation

Chimie textile

Textiles et tissusIndex. décimale : 667.3 Teinture et impression des tissus Résumé : Functional polymer modified carbon black (CB) pigment (P‐(DMC‐co‐CHPMA)‐g‐MPTS/CB) with reactive epoxy and quaternary ammonium groups was designed and prepared via a thiol‐ene click chemistry reaction, and its dispersion ability in the aqueous phase, as well as its colouring and anti‐bacterial properties for cotton fabrics, were investigated. In considering both dispersion ability and reactive ability to cotton fabric, the mole ratio of the monomers (methacrylatoethyl trimethyl ammonium chloride [DMC] and 3‐chloro‐2‐hydroxypropyl methacrylate [CHPMA]) was discussed. Morphology and chemical properties of P‐(DMC‐co‐CHPMA)‐g‐MPTS/CB were tested by scanning electron microscopy, transmission electron microscopy, thermogravimetric analysis and X‐ray photoelectron spectroscopy, resulting in a weight content of copolymer (DMC‐co‐CHPMA) in P‐(DMC‐co‐CHPMA)‐g‐MPTS/CB of ca. 18%. P‐(DMC‐co‐CHPMA)‐g‐MPTS/CB was fixed onto cotton fabric via a nucleophilic‐substituted reaction between reactive epoxy groups on the CB surface and the hydroxyl groups of cotton fabric, which endowed good fastness to cotton fabric without either a fixing or an adhesive agent. Also, coloured cotton fabric demonstrated excellent anti‐bacterial activity towards Staphylococcus aureus and Escherichia coli O157:H7.
