Pour caractériser les propriétés rhéologiques de ces différentes formulations, des mesures ont été effectuées à l'aide d'un analyseur de texture informatisé et d'un rhéomètre. Transition vitreuseIndex. décimale : 667.3 Teinture et impression des tissus Résumé : Polyphenylene sulphide is considered to be a high-performance thermoplastic material and has been used in many areas over the past few decades. But the application of polyphenylene sulphide fabric used for protective clothing is limited because of difficulties in its dyeing and printing. In this work, carrier dyeing of polyphenylene sulphide fabric with disperse dye is discussed, and the effect of the structure of the carrier, dyeing temperature, dyeing time, usage of carrier and usage of dye on colour strength of the dyed sample and the percentage of dye exhaustion were investigated. In addition, the glass transition temperature, crystalline structure and orientation degree of treated polyphenylene sulphide fibre with benzyl benzoate were measured by differential scanning calorimetry, X-ray diffraction analysis and velocity-oriented tester, respectively. The results indicated that benzyl benzoate could increase the percentages of dye exhaustion and colour strength values, while at the same time reduce the glass transition temperature and orientation degree of the treated polyphenylene sulphide fibre. Thus, it would be beneficial to the diffusion of the dye molecules into the amorphous region of the fibre. Furthermore, the decrease of tensile strength and limiting oxygen index of the dyed polyphenylene sulphide sample was very little, and the colour fastness and levelness of the dyed polyphenylene sulphide samples were also satisfactory. - le modèle parchemin: un seul feuillet de graphène est enroulé sur lui-même, comme une feuille de papier.Index. décimale : 620.13 Matériaux de construction : pierre, ciment, béton, liants de Résumé : This study focuses on different techniques for dispersing Multi-Walled Carbon Nanotubes (MWCNTs) in cementitious materials. The impact of dispersion is observed through electrical resistivity and mechanical properties of cementitious composites. Two contents (0.5 and 1% by mass of cement) of MWCNTs are investigated and three different techniques were used to disperse CNTs in water by sonication: (i) pristine, P-CNT, (ii) functionalized carbon nanotubes by classical approach (dispersive agent, D-CNT), and (iii) by an innovative approach (annealing, A-CNT). Self-sensing response of the material under cyclic compressive loading is measured with Wheatstone Bridge (WSB) circuit. Results showed a detrimental effect of dispersive agent on the resistivity and mechanical properties of cementitious composites irrespective of the content of CNTs. However, the impact of P-CNT and A-CNT on the reduction of mechanical properties is slight. With the use of 1% content of A-CNTs, a stable resistivity response of the material is observed irrespective of the saturation degree. This indicates that content higher than 1% of A-CNTs is not required for the development of smart cementitious composites for structural health monitoring (SHM). The test results of self sensing measurements indicate a poor repeatability of the electrical response for plain mortar under each loading cycle while, stable response is noticed with specimens incorporating 1% of A-CNTs. The maximum variation in fractional change in voltage (FCV) shown by plain mortar is 6.3% indicating high electrical resistance of plain mortar, while in case of mortar containing 1% A-CNTs, variation in FCV is 35% indicating lower electrical resistance and better sensitivity of the material. However such extraordinary scientific development of CRP contrasts with the very limited number of commercially available products derived from these technologies. The present review tries to connect the basics of CRP as a tool to develop commercial products and also its commercial status. The overview of patent literature, conference proceedings, research papers and technical data sheets of commercial products. The advantages and disadvantages are given for the different CRP techniques, the CRP processes face many of hurdles (depending on the type of CRP), that must be overcome and reduce the time to market for polymer products compared to mature existing technologies. In spite of its slow development, CRP is seen as a revolutionary method to produce precisely controlled, next generation specialty polymer additives and materials.
