PolyuréthanesIndex. décimale : 675 Technologie du cuir et de la fourrure Résumé : Aliphatic and aromatic cationic aqueous polyurethane (PU-1, PU-2), aliphatic anionic aqueous polyurethanes (PU-3, PU-4) were prepared with polyether glycol, polyether polyol, toluene diisocyanate and isophorone diisocyanate as raw materials. The core-shell polyurethane/polyacrylate composite emulsions (PUA-5, PUA-6) as well as interpenetrating PUA composite emulsions (PUA-7£¬PUA-8) were prepared by seeded emulsion polymerization, the aliphatic anionic aqueous PU dispersions were used as seed particles, glycidyl methacrylate was used as the bridge of core and shell in second stage polymerization. A study using different finishing applications for pigskin garment leather was carried out with the aliphatic anionic PU dispersion, the core-shell and interpenetrating structure PUA hybrid emulsions as film forming agents. The wet rub fastness, solvent resistance, flex resistance, adhesive fastness of the coating in finished leather were measured respectively. The results are as follows: (1) the anionic PU dispersions, the core-shell and interpenetrating PUA composite emulsions showed good film forming, good covering grain damage and mending properties, and strong adhesive force to leather. The finished leathers were soft, flat, smooth, non-sticky and their grain patterns were clear; (2) The interpenetrating PUA is better than core-shell PUA and the core-sell PUA is better than the PU dispersion at wet rub fastness, solvent resistance, adhesive resistance. Both PU dispersion and core-shell PUA were better than the interpenetrating PUA at flex resistance by comparison. Revêtements en phase aqueuse:Peinture en phase aqueuseIndex. décimale : 667.9 Revêtements et enduits Résumé : We have investigated the deflocculation mechanism of waterborne jet black dispersions made in the dry-grind process based on the two-roll milling. We also compared this dry-grind process with the conventional wet media grind process. As a result, we found that:(1)High jetness in the dry-grind process was found to result from complete surface coverage of the carbon black pigment with the acidic acrylic dispersant during the two-roll milling step. This complete surface coverage is achieved because the dry dispersant molecules before neutralization do not have electrostatic repulsion among them.(2)The amount of adsorption for the dry grind is three times as great as that for the wet grind.(3)The stabilization mechanism is due to steric repulsion imparted by the adsorbed dispersant molecules, and the electrostatic repulsion is an insignificant force for stabilization.(4)High temperature in the chip dissolution step lowers the jetness owing to the decrease in the solubility of the dispersant at higher temperatures. SurfactantsIndex. décimale : 667.9 Revêtements et enduits Résumé : The effect of the adsorption of an anionic surfactant (aerosol OT, sodium dodecyl sulfate, sodium dodecyl sulfonate, or sodium dodecyl benzene sulfonate) on the dispersion behavior of some types of titanium dioxide pigments has been studied. Surfactant adsorption isotherms and the kinetics of the adsorption process were linked using a full Langmuir model. Sedimentation experiments were used to assess the dispersibility of the powders in two nonpolar dispersion media (nonane and cyclohexane). Surfactant-modified powders were found to be more dispersible than the untreated powders in these nonpolar media. Experiments were also performed to assess the stability of the surfactant coating to elevated temperatures and exposure to organic solvents.

Note de contenu : - EXPERIMENTAL : Materiales - Métodos
