Teinture -- Fibres textilesIndex. décimale : 667.3 Teinture et impression des tissus Résumé : Compared with manual matching, computer colour matching is faster and more reliable. Computer colour-matching results are determined by the method used; however, in practical application, the accuracy of colour matching still needs to be improved. In this paper, we first designed a series of colour-matching schemes with two reactive dyes, Levafix Blue and Levafix Amber, then dyed cotton fabric through the pad-dry-pad-steam process, and finally established the matching database. Furthermore, two colour-matching sub-models were developed by least squares support vector machine (LSSVM) to predict the dye recipe in cotton fabric dyeing, while particle swarm optimisation (PSO) was applied to optimise and tune the parameters of the LSSVM models. Herein, the model inputs are the colour parameters L*, a* and b* of the dyed samples and the model output is dye concentration. It is confirmed that the colour-matching models have excellent evaluation indexes and colour-matching effects. The coefficient of determination is more than 0.99, and the colour-matching precision is more than 98%. All the results prove that the colour-matching models by PSO-LSSVM can be accurately applied in practical dyeing to predict the reactive dye recipe, which is suitable for use on an industrial scale. Textiles et tissus -- Propriétés mécaniquesIndex. décimale : 667.3 Teinture et impression des tissus Résumé : Five different aminosilicon-based softeners were prepared by ultrahigh-pressure homogenisation, and changes in their particle sizes and spectroscopic properties were investigated. Moreover, the yellowing characteristics and mechanical properties of cotton fabrics treated with the homogenised softeners were determined. Homogenisation significantly decreased the average particle sizes and particle size distribution without destroying the micelles. In particular, from the results on changes in the whiteness and yellowness of a cotton fabric treated with a silicon-based softener, it was confirmed that homogenisation suppresses the yellowing of the fabrics. Textiles et tissusIndex. décimale : 667.9 Revêtements et enduits Résumé : Coupled with the improvement in people’s living standards, the demand for textiles having a special performance like water repellency is mushrooming. In this study, the cationic fluorinated acrylate copolymer latex particles with a core–shell structure were synthesized via semicontinuous seed emulsion polymerization process, using Span 80, Tween 80, and dodecyltrimethylammonium chloride as composite emulsifier and (2-(acryloyloxy)ethyl)trimethylammonium chloride as a cationic monomer. Cationic fluorinated acrylate copolymers were successfully confirmed through the FTIR, 1H NMR, and XPS analyses. In addition, the homogeneous latex particles (~ 132 nm of average size) with an evident core–shell structure were observed by TEM analysis, and a stable positive charge (48 ± 5 mV) on the surface of latex particles was demonstrated by zeta potential analysis. Meanwhile, the results showed that the dosage of dodecafluoroheptyl methacrylate (DFMA) played a vital role in the hydrophobicity of the latex films and the one with the best water repellency was identified with 10 g of DFMA dosage. Furthermore, the cotton fabric finishing experiments demonstrated that, after finishing by the cationic fluorinated acrylate copolymer emulsion, the treated cotton fabric exhibited excellent hydrophobicity even at low concentration, with > 130° of the water contact angle and > 60 min of the static absorbing time.
