Spectroscopie d'impédance électrochimiqueIndex. décimale : 667.9 Revêtements et enduits Résumé : In this work a corrosion protection material formed by commercial benzoxazine and polyaniline (PAni) for coatings applications was developed. PAni doped with a natural phenolic compound, cardanol, was used in the coating preparation, and conventional hydrochloric acid-doped PAni was also used for comparative purposes. Cardanol is a reddish-brown liquid obtained from the by-product of cashew nut processing. The presence of the aliphatic group and the hydroxyl of the cardanol, as well as the amine groups of the PAni, can enhance the corrosion barrier of a benzoxazine coatings. The anticorrosive properties of the coatings were evaluated by electrochemical impedance spectroscopy in 3.5% NaCl solution for a total period of 168 h. The coatings of benzoxazine filled with PAni showed better anticorrosion performance and adhesion strength on carbon steel substrate when compared to pristine benzoxazine and PAni doped with 3 wt% cardanol exhibits the best performances. This last result can be explained by both the presence of PAni and the better PAni dispersion within benzoxazine when doped with cardanol. In addition, the incorporation of cardanol-doped PAni in the benzoxazine reduced the cure temperature of the benzoxazine. Spectroscopie d'impédance électrochimiqueIndex. décimale : 667.9 Revêtements et enduits Résumé : Silicone-modified epoxy polymeric matrix was successfully fabricated and reinforced with 1–2 wt% SiO2, TiO2, and TiSiO4 nanoparticles. Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy, contact angle measurements, differential scanning calorimetry, and field-emission scanning electron microscopy together with energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy were employed to investigate different characteristics of the prepared coatings. To simulate operating conditions, all samples were characterized via electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) after being subjected to different conditions. Corrosion under static conditions, in which the samples were exposed to a static electrolyte without further change in other parameters, was investigated. Furthermore, to study the effects of ultraviolet (UV) radiation in accelerating the degradation of the coatings, samples were characterized after being subjected to UV while immersed statically in the electrolyte. Additionally, the corrosion protection performance was investigated after subjecting the coated substrates to dynamic conditions involving continuous movement of the sample in the electrolyte, simulating continuous wear of the coated surfaces. Compared with the static condition, the EIS results revealed the vital role of the silicone resin and nanoparticles in improving the stability of the coating film against corrosion degradation in the presence of UV radiation, while poor performance in dynamic condition was recorded for all the coating systems. Nanotubes de carbone à parois multiplesUn nanotube de carbone multifeuillet est constitué de plusieurs feuillets de graphènes enroulés les uns autour des autres. Il existe deux modèles pour décrire la structure des nanotubes multifeuillets :
- le modèle poupée russe: les plans de graphène sont arrangés en cylindres concentriques ;
- le modèle parchemin: un seul feuillet de graphène est enroulé sur lui-même, comme une feuille de papier.

Then, the TCNTs enhanced epoxy coatings were applied on sintered NdFeB magnets by cathodic electrophoretic deposition method for corrosion test. The corrosion resistance of prepared specimens was assessed by electrochemical experiments. The results show that TCNTs hybrids present a more homogeneous distribution in epoxy resin than pristine CNTs and could obviously promote anticorrosion properties of prepared specimens. Within 36-day soaking in 3.5 wt.% NaCl solution, the specimens maintain a high value of |Z|0.01Hz (108 Ω cm2) when the concentration of TCNTs is 2 g/L. When immersed in 3.5 wt.% NaCl solution for 40 days, the Ecorr of specimens shifts to − 0.207 V and Jcorr is about 5.281 × 10−11 A cm−2, which demonstrates superior corrosion resistance.
