Son objectif est de produire des biens et services tout en limitant fortement la consommation et le gaspillage des matières premières, et des sources d'énergies non renouvelables ;

Note de contenu : - Fig. 1. Economie circulaire

Revêtements poudre:Peinture poudreIndex. décimale : 667.9 Revêtements et enduits Résumé : A new method for the synthesis of sustainable and cost-efficient polyester resins for powder coating has been developed by combining the chemical recycling of polymers recovered from post-consumer waste streams with the use of bio-based monomers as building blocks for the polymerisation. Some of these monomers are very specific and brought to the development of materials with unique properties, which cannot be obtained from traditional petrochemicals. Therefore, the casting produced using this new approach presents applicative properties similar to and, in some cases, superior properties, compared with commercial coatings obtained from non-renewable resources. This aspect combined with the sustainable character of the new technology gives important advantages in comparison with conventional resins and opens new possibilities In market segments where the current powder coating has limited applications due to some intrinsic limitations. Solutions de polymèreIndex. décimale : 668.4 Plastiques, vinyles Résumé : In the present investigation, a novel ladder polymer, poly(azomethine ester), was prepared via solution polycondensation polymerization between terephthalic acid and the novel monomer. Terephthalic acid was regenerated from PET waste bottles by saponification process, whereas p-phenylenediamine was obtained via Hoffmann rearrangement method. A novel monomer, namely N,N′-bis(2,5-dihydroxy benzylidene)-1,4-diaminobenzene was prepared from the reaction of 2,5-di-hydroxybenzadehyde with p-phenylenediamine in the ratio of 2:1, respectively. For the first time a solution polycondensation method has been employed for the synthesis of a ladder polymer which is otherwise prepared commonly via Diels-Alder cycloaddition reaction. The synthesized ladder polymer was characterized by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR), proton nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy (1H NMR), carbon nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy (13C NMR), elemental analysis (CHN), X-ray diffraction (XRD), differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) and thermogravimetric analysis (TGA). The results revealed that the ladder polymer possess highly regular ladder like framework, and that most of the ester groups have taken part in the side-by-side polymerization reaction. Revêtements organiquesIndex. décimale : 667.9 Revêtements et enduits Résumé : With the implementation of stringent environmental regulations for the reduction of Volatile Organic Compound (VOC) all across the globe, the need for waterborne paint system have never been so vital. Diverging from a common belief that water borne coatings are inferior to that of solvent borne in terms of various properties, the current era has started to witness the emergence of water borne Polyurethane Dispersions (PUDs). A fully fledged study is carried out in regard to PUDs, its various types like non-ionic, anionic and cationic, relevance of Segmentai variances like hard and soft segments, acrylic modifications and also sustainable modifications using oil, fatty acids and polyethylene terephthalate (PET) wastes. The study is not circumscribed by just traditional synthesis routes but also discusses in detail the current and even the bright future of polyurethane dispersions. PUDs are the areas with immense research scope and new technologies and methods are sure to be innovated, nevertheless, it carries in itself assured repercussions into the near future of the paint and coating industry. Réactions chimiques organiquesIndex. décimale : 677.4 Textiles artificiels Résumé : According to current forecasts, the expected worldwide consumption of polyamide 6 (PA 6) in 2020 will be 5.5 million metric tons with a stable annual growth of 2.5-3.0%. More Chan 650/o of it will be fiber-grade polymers. The over-proportionally strong growth of production capacity (expected annual growth of 4.0%) exceeds the expected growth of consumption and causes pressure on the polyamide producers. The endeavors to optimize production efficiency and to reduce production costs are rising. The biggest cost factor in the production of PA 6 is raw material cost (g-caprolactam). Thus, beside top product quality, minimum raw material consumption is most important for producers. This directs the focus on handling the internal recirculation stream containing caprolactam-monomer and oligomers. The effective and professional handling of this stream influences bath product quality and profitability of the plant. Note de contenu : - Extraction as core process step
