Revêtements en phase aqueuse:Peinture en phase aqueuseIndex. décimale : 667.9 Revêtements et enduits Résumé : The author explain how dimensionally stable low-shrinkage coatings can be produced with the help of new modified curing agents.
The measuring results reveal that nowadays modern water-dilutable epoxy systems allow thick-film and dimensionally-stable, low-shrink coatings. It has been shown that the formulation largely influences the result. However, the formulator is easily able to achieve the expected results for coatings by means of a new modified curing agent. It has to be emphasised that practice-oriented values are attainable even at - for aqueous systems unfavourable temperature conditions of 8°C and increased atmospheric moisture. This way, the demands raised by the user for practical, thick-film protective coatings are fulfiled. The same applies to legal and ecological demands for the solvent and VOC-content of the formulation.Note de contenu : - Causes of shrinkage

(Wikipedia)

Simulation combined Latin hypercube sampling approach was used to research the effects of different process parameters on deformation. Then, random forest regression (RFR) is used to construct the mathematical relationship between process parameters and defects, such as warpage and volume shrinkage. The gaussian process is used as probabilistic surrogate model, while the probability of improvement is used as acquisition function to construct a Bayesian optimization for RFR’s hyperparameters, and the performance of random search is compared. In addition, the gradient boosting regression (GBR) and support vector regression (SVR) were also adopted to establish the prediction models, respectively. Comparing all the above prediction models, it can be found that the Bayesian optimized random forest regression (BO-RFR) has the highest accuracy. The Non-dominated Sorting Genetic Algorithm-II (NSGA-II) is interfaced with the predictive models to find the optimum design parameters for the purpose of effectively predicting and controlling warpage and volume shrinkage. The results show that warpage is reduced by 66.03% while volume shrinkage is 46.20% after optimizing. The final finite element simulation and physical tests indicate that this proposed method can effectively achieve the multi-objective optimization of injection molding. VerreIndex. décimale : 667.9 Revêtements et enduits Résumé : Polyurethane acrylates (PUAs) modified by different amounts of stearyl alcohol were synthesized from stearyl alcohol (SA), isophorone diisocyanate, 2-hydroxyethyl acrylate, and polycaprolactone triol. The molecular structure was characterized by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy. Real time infrared spectroscopy was used to investigate the kinetics of photopolymerization of synthesized PUAs. The volume shrinkage was measured by laser displacement sensor. The adhesion on glass, polycarbonate (PC), and polyvinyl chloride (PVC) was tested by the laser micrometer and universal testing machine. The glass transition temperature (T g) and storage modulus (E′) were measured by dynamic mechanical analyzer (DMA). The pendulum hardness, pencil hardness and flexibility were also measured. The results showed that the greater the amount of SA in synthesized PUAs, the lower the volume shrinkage and the better the adhesion to glass, PC, and PVC substrates.
