A survey indicated that both men and women value appearance more than personality as they age. Most men and women wish to remain young (or thought to be young) forever but facial changes are telltate signs that they are ageing. Wrinkles and dark sports on your face are what give an impression of ageing to others. it goes without saying that the major factor in ageing. Wrinkles and dark sports on your face are what give an impression on ageing to others. It goes without saying that the major factor in ageing of the skin in exposed areas, such as the face, is ultraviolet rays (UV), and knowledge that "ultraviolet rays are the enemy of beauty" is becoming firmly entrenched. Some people believe they sunburn more easily as they age and feel that somehow their skin becomes redder even though they follow their usual sun block routine. When we conducted a survey (Ichimaru Pharcos Internet Survey [7-11 July 2016]) on 522 women in their 20s to 60s residing in the Tokyo metropolitan area regarding sunburn, 35% of all respondents answered that "When I am exposed to strong sunlight, I sunburn more easily compared to in the past". This indicates that one in three people feel that "ageing makes it easier to get sunburned." Note de contenu : - Changes in the skin's reaction to UV and DAMPs (Damaga associated molecular patterns) as a result of ageing
- UV damage and DAMPs
- Rosa roxburghii fruit extract

Spectres d'absorptionTags : Peau 'Radiation ultraviolette' Optoacoustique 'Propriétés optiques' 'Effets des UV' Index. décimale : 668.5 Parfums et cosmétiques Résumé : Optoacoustics is a new method to study the optical properties of human skin in vivo. We measured the absorption spectra of human skin in a study in twenty subjects belonging to skin phototypes I-IV. Absorption coefficients were determined in the range from 290 nm to 341 nm (3 nm steps) on the inner and outer side of the forearm and the ball of the thumb. Comparison of these new data with known action spectra of photobiologic effects and natural solar irradiation spectra indicates that the small wavelength range from ca. 300 nm to 320 nm may be responsible for significant detrimental and beneficial effects. Consequently, the skin is very sensitive to changes in irradiation in this spectral region. Permalink : https://e-campus.itech.fr/pmb/opac_css/index.php?lvl=notice_display&id=10140

Vieillissement cutanéIndex. décimale : 668.5 Parfums et cosmétiques Résumé : “Darkening of facial skin” known as “kusumi” in Japan is a phenomenon characterized by darkening of skin color and very fine wrinkle, and is thought to be a precursor symptom of photoaging. There are two methods to prevent “darkening of the skin” and photoaging ; the use of sunscreens products and the use of skin care products. The aim of the study was to research and develop an optimal skin care product that would protect the skin from “darkening of the skin” and photoaging without the use of synthetic organic sunscreen agents or powders. We therefore selected, from among the many natural Chinese herbs, two (extracts of Betula pendula and Engelhardtia chrysolepsis HANCE) that both contained potent anti-inflammatory and antioxidation properties, and prepared a combination cream of the two extracts. Results of long-term application showed the cream was effective in improving skin color and skin texture, and it thereby improved “darkening of the skin”. This cream has been supplied to many customers for actual use, and its effectiveness in improving “darkening of the skin” has been acclaimed on the market. Improving “darkening of the skin” means that existing skin not only become lighter, but it also leads to the prevention of future photoaging. Note de contenu : - MATERIALS AND METHODS : Lipid peroxidation inhibition test - Test of the inhibition of Erythema due to UV light - Test of surface melanin uniformity - Test to measure the effectiveness in improving skin color - Test to measure improvement in skin texture and color.
