Note de contenu : - GENETICS OF SKIN PIGMENTATION

Moules d'injection -- Détérioration
Simulation par ordinateurIndex. décimale : 668.4 Plastiques, vinyles Résumé : The surface of an injection mold is prone to erosion and wear under the impact of the filler during plastics injection molding, which leads to premature failure of the mold. The mechanism of erosion and wear of a filler on the mold has not been clarified yet. A numerical technique was employed to simulate the erosion and wear process, and the influence of environmental parameters and particle characteristics, such as erosion velocity, erosion angle, temperature, and particle shape were studied. The results showed that the erosion velocity and erosion angle are important factors that affect erosion and wear. Finally, the relationship between change of particle energy and erosion and wear of the material is studied from the perspective of energy. Note de contenu : - Numerical model

Tension superficielleIndex. décimale : 667.9 Revêtements et enduits Résumé : The coating dynamics of a drying paint film with a yield stress is studied. The liquid is modeled as a binary mixture with one volatile component, solvent, and one nonvolatile component, resin. When the solvent has a different surface tension than the resin, solvent evaporation can lead to the creation of surface tension gradients which can potentially overcome the yield stress and dramatically affect the flow history. Using the lubrication approximations to derive the flux of the liquid film parallel to the substrate, we find that the presence of the yield stress causes several distinct flow regimes. The total flux of each of these regimes is summed, and using the continuity equation we derive an evolution equation giving the height of the free surface as a function of the distance along the substrate and time. The resulting equations are discretized and solved numerically using finite differences. High order derivative is treated implicitly, allowing for large time steps and reducing the computational requirements. We find that the presence of a yield stress greatly affects the leveling behavior of the coating. Critical yield stresses exist that can cause maximal leveling of the coating film.

ViscositéIndex. décimale : 667.9 Revêtements et enduits Résumé : To develop environmentally friendly coating materials with good workability, a low-viscosity polyurethane acrylate (LPUA) was newly synthesized using cycloaliphatic isocyanate, 2-hydroxypropyl acrylate and caprolactone hydroxyl acrylate. Low-viscosity UV-curable dendritic polyurethane acrylate coatings (LPUA-DAs) were then prepared by adding different amounts of dendritic acrylates to LPUA. The viscosity of the resulting products, curing behavior, mechanical and thermal stability, hardness, and flexibility of the UV-cured films were examined. The mechanical properties and the glass transition temperature increased with increasing content of dendritic acrylates but the viscosity decreased. The optimal properties of the coating materials were observed when 10% of dendritic acrylate was used. Note de contenu : - FTIR spectra
