TomographieIndex. décimale : 620.112 Résistance et autres propriétés des matériaux, essais non destructifs Résumé : Des images tomographiques à haute résolution (pas d'échantillonnage 6,5 µm) ont été obtenurs à l'ESRF (European Synchrotron Radiation Facility) de Grenoble. elles mettent en évidence l'apparition de l'endommagement consécutif à des essais de traction monotone, effectués sur deux matériaux composites à matrice aluminium (alliage 6061). Dans le premier matériau, contenant une fibre unique de carbure de silicium (SiC), l'apparition, sur la courbe contrainte-déformation, d'un crochet brutal a coïncidé avec une rupture de la fibre en trois points,distants de 200 µm seulement. Dans le second matériau, renforcé par des particules de SiC présentant une taille moyenne de 120 µm seulement. Dans le second matériau, renforcé par des particules de SiC présentant une taille moyenne de 120 µm, des fissures ont été détectées aussi bien dans les particules elles-mêmes que dans la matrice. Dans ces deux cas, l'imagerie tridimensionnelle (3D) permet de suivre le développement des fissures à l'intérieur de l'échantillon et de visualiser leur interaction avec les particules ou avec les défauts d'élaboration de la matrice. Chanvre et constituantsLe chanvre ou chanvrier (Cannabis sativa L.) est la seule espèce du genre botanique Cannabis. Ce terme latin est souvent utilisé aussi comme nom vernaculaire pour distinguer les variétés de chanvre cultivé à usage industriel des variétés de cannabis à usage récréatif ou médical. C'est une espèce de plante annuelle, de la famille des Cannabaceae. La graine de chanvre s'appelle le chènevis.

Traction (mécanique)Index. décimale : 668.4 Plastiques, vinyles Résumé : Cette étude propose d’évaluer la liaison fil de chanvre imprégné/résine époxy. Les essais micromécaniques de
caractérisation de l’interface fibre/matrice ont été adaptés à une échelle supérieure et associés à des techniques
expérimentales permettant la mesure de champs de contrainte et de déplacements. Des composites monofilamentaires
contenant un fil de chanvre orienté à 0° ou 90° ont été spécifiquement développés. Les essais de fragmentation menés
ont permis de définir la contrainte critique de cisaillement interfacial. L’évolution du champ de contrainte suivi par
photoélasticimétrie a montré des zones de redistribution des contraintes autour des fragmentations identifiées par des
ellipses à 45° de la direction de sollicitation. Les champs de déformation de points situés dans le fil, dans la résine et à l’interface fil/matrice ont été suivis par des mesures en corrélation d’images numériques réalisées sur la tranche
d’éprouvettes monofilamentaires contenant un fil à 90°. Le profil des déformations dans la direction de traction a pu
être relié à la structure hélicoïdale du fil. Les résultats ont montré une déformation de cisaillement plus importante pour les points situés à l’interface fil/matrice. Ces mesures ont permis de reconstruire les lois de comportement de points

Revêtements:PeintureIndex. décimale : 667.9 Revêtements et enduits Résumé : Des films d'oxynitrures de fer ont été déposés sur différents substrats par pulvérisation magnétron réactive d'une cible de fer dans un mélange gazeux Ar-N2-O2. Cette étude est consacrée à l'influence de la pression partielle d'oxygène sur les propriétés physiques et fonctionnelles des couches minces de FeNxOy. La structure et la composition chimique de ces films ont été déterminées respectivement par diffraction des rayons X et par spectroscopie d'ions rétrodiffusés. En augmentant le débit d'oxygène, la structure des films évolue d'un nitrure ($\epsilon$-Fe2-3N) à une structure cubique à faces centrées et finalement à un oxyde ($\alpha$-Fe2O3). Ces travaux portent également sur les propriétés mécaniques et électriques mesurées à température ambiante. De plus l'évolution de la couleur de ces revêtements a été mesurée dans le système CIE-L*a*b*. Les différentes propriétés et la couleur rouge-brun obtenue pour les films FeNxOy déposés avec une quantité importante d'oxygène permettent d'envisager des applications décoratives pour le traitement d'objets portés. MicroorganismesIndex. décimale : 620.11 Matériaux (propriétés, résistance) Résumé : Une approche polyphasique a été utilisée pour étudier la flore cultivable anaérobie associée aux phénomènes de corrosion induite par les microorganismes (CIM). Parmi cette flore, les bactéries sulfato-réductrices (BSR) et les bactéries thiosulfato-réductrices (BTR) sont décrites comme étant particulièrement agressives vis-à -vis des matériaux métalliques immergés en eau de mer, notamment à cause de leur capacité à produire du sulfure de dihydrogène (H2S). Les spectres IR de 22 BSR et BTR de collection ont été enregistrés afin de créer une spectrothèque de référence. Pour ce faire, un milieu de culture minimum commun (MCM) a été développé afin de permettre la croissance concomitante des BSR et des BTR et de permettre la comparaison de leurs spectres IR. Les résultats de la classification IRTF de ces souches ont abouti à une discrimination nette au niveau genre et espèce. Les spectres IR d’isolats issus de coupons en acier carbone immergés durant une année dans 3 zones portuaires françaises ont été comparés à la spectrothèque préalablement créée. Leur identification et l’image de leur biodiversité ont été décrites en associant les résultats spectroscopiques et le séquençage du gène de l’ARN 16S de quelques souches représentatives. Dans cette étude, la population dominante est constituée de souches appartenant au genre Vibrio. Des souches appartenant aux genres Desulfovibrio (BSR) et à l’ordre des Clostridiales ont également été retrouvées. Dans l’ensemble, l’approche polyphasique combinant spectroscopie IRTF et méthode moléculaire a permis l’étude taxonomique et écologique de la flore bactérienne cultivable sur MCM associée à la CIM.
