It was found that the total amount of transdermal absorption of ascorbic acid within 4 hours was B2 > A > B1 > C, in which B2 reached 0.413 µg.mm-2, and the transdermal absorptivity was B2 > A > B1 > C, in which B2 even reached 0.98%. The results showed that the mask could promote the transdermal absorption of ascorbic acid, especially when the lyophilized essence worked together with the mask, the performance and effect of transdermal absorption were more significant, which could provide good suggestions for application in the use of product. Langues : Anglais (eng) Index. décimale : 668.9 Polymères Résumé : The biaxial stretchability and film properties of polylactide/thermoplastic starch blends were investigated. Polylactide (PLA) and thermoplastic starch (TPS) were blended in various proportions. Blends containing 27, 42 and 60 wt.% TPS were prepared via a twin-screw extrusion process. Interfacial modification was performed by grafting the PLA with maleic anhydride. These blends were subsequently cast into sheets and biaxially drawn using a laboratory biaxial stretcher. The morphology of extruded strands and cast sheets was investigated using scanning electron microscopy. The compatibilized blends exhibited a much finer morphology as well as preferential minor phase size orientation along the machine direction. The addition of starch did not affect significantly the biaxial stretchability of the pure PLA. Even at high starch content (60 wt.%), the biaxial draw ratio at which the sample breaks is very similar to that of the pure PLA. At higher temperatures, all blends could be stretched at significantly much higher biaxial draw ratio and very thin films could be obtained. The starch content and processing variables affected the tensile properties.
Index. décimale : 668.9 Polymères Résumé : In this paper, the crystallization of PLA in PLA/thermoplastic starch (TPS) blends was investigated. The TPS was used as the minor component at a concentration varying between 0 and 42%. The effect of interfacial area was studied by compatibilizing the blend using maleic anhydride grafted PLA. To further enhance the crystallization rate in PLA/TPS blends, the addition of talc and acetyl triethyl citrate, as nucleating agent and plasticizer respectively, was also studied. The crystallization rate was monitored using DSC analysis under both isothermal and non- isothermal conditions. The isothermal data was used to determine the crystallization half-life and to determine the optimum crystallization temperature. The crystallization half-time of PLA was decreased significantly in presence of the TPS phase and this effect was strengthened by the blends interfacial modification. By applying proper plasticization and nucleation strategy, crystallinity in excess of 50% was achieved even at cooling rates as high as 80°C/min. Fully crystallized PLA/TPS samples were obtained by injection molding in a hot mold (80°C). Crystallized parts showed improved thermal resistance at temperatures above PLA's glass transition. Using the device and method, both the influence of ultrasonic vibration on the velocity of the filling front and the velocity distribution of a polypropylene melt within a cavity are discussed. The results showed that the filling front velocity of the melt was improved by ultrasonic vibration (the filling front velocity was improved by up to 27% when 200 W of ultrasonic power was applied). In addition, it was shown that the velocity gradient of the melt within the cavity decreased, and that the velocity distribution became more uniform during ultrasonic vibration.
Note de contenu : - MATERIALS AND METHODS : Sample preparation - Nitrite determination - Subjects - Sodium lauryl sulphate patch testing - Statistical analysis
