In each instance, the addition of the polyisocyanate crosslinker improved the elevated temperature performance of the two component adhesive.
As with most two component systems, polyisocyanate crosslinkers have pot life issues that need to be managed in order to obtain peak performance. Crosslinkers are available with a range of reactivities, hydrophilic content and cost that allow performance to be adjusted for the specific adhesive application.Note de contenu : - Polyisocyanate

With the addition of five new high-performance red pigments, including two rubine pigments with improved properties, the Pigments & Additives Division of Clariant shows its outstanding innovative power. A highly automated plant, build with the latest technology, gets Clariant ready to supply the market with high-performance red pigments for years to come. The potential of the new red pigments is far from being fully explored. The development of tailored DPP pigments for sophisticated printing jobs and colour filters, to be launched by Clariant in the near future, will be only one of many more innovation to come out of DPP chemistry.Note de contenu : - Highly automated plant

Rubans adhésifsIndex. décimale : 668.3 Adhésifs et produits semblables Résumé : Based on a novel monomer, the release polymer has already proven successful in applications for film tapes. Offering strong hydrophobic performance, contamination resistance, and heat and aging resistance, it eliminates the need for silicone in end use, resulting in a completely repulpable product. Additionally, it offers the ability to reduce the environmental risks and burdens imposed by solvents or fluorine-based products.
This polymer can be blended with other products, such as those shown in Figure 5, enabling the creation of unique release coating formulations for specific applications. Work is ongoing to leverage this new technology for more applications, widening the range of release strengths it can provide and further enabling the reduction and elimination of older technologies, allowing more environmentally preferred end use products to be developed.Note de contenu : - Hydrophobicity

(Wikipédia)Index. décimale : 667.9 Revêtements et enduits Résumé : Excess thermal energy can cause significant damage to the mechanical parts of various systems. Temperature sensors can measure and control the temperature in these systems to prevent such damage. However, the applications of existing temperature sensors are limited by their shape as it limits their ability to attach to different surfaces. Consequently, it is challenging to measure the temperature of curved surfaces. In this study, we propose a smart paint that can measure the temperature of curved surfaces to address the above issues. The smart paint fabrication method must be optimized because the resistance characteristics of these paints differ according to the manufacturing conditions. In this study, a curing process was used to manufacture the smart paint; the optimal curing temperature and curing time were determined experimentally. Furthermore, a coating solution was applied to increase the surface stability of the fabricated paint. The coating was applied using a spin coater at a specific rotation time and speed. We also determined the optimal coating conditions. The coating was confirmed to increase the surface stability of the smart paint.
