HumiditéIndex. décimale : 675 Technologie du cuir et de la fourrure Résumé : This article utilizes the Tinker software to simulate the microspatial structure of type III collagen (1bkv) in natural leather. The four simulation environment temperatures were set at 300K, 320K, 340K, 360K te analyse the relevant trend of variation of coordination number (CN) and interatomic distance (Dis) and the number of interatomic distance (Dis No) of the lbkv collagen whole atom at the different temperatures. The results shows that with the increase of temperature the CN increases tao. As the CN value of 1bkv collagen increased gradually from 125 to 350, the floating frequency of Dis No increases with the increase of simulation time. But 0.5-0.6ns is the inflection lime et simulation. When the temperature increased to 360K, the corresponding Dis No obviously increased while, when the temperature is less than 360K, the change of Dis No is not obvious. This phenomenon shows that temperature is an important factor which affects the Dis No of collagen molecules. The increase of temperature makes the inner spatial structure of collagen molecules become smaller, which explains that, as the temperature rises to a certain value, the naturel leather's moisture-penetrability and breathability decreases. Wet-bright (tannage)Index. décimale : 675 Technologie du cuir et de la fourrure Résumé : Since leather is strongly affected by three main environmental parameters — temperature, relative humidity, and UV radiation — this study focuses on the effect that these three factors have on wet-bright leather ageing. Wet-bright leathers were exposed to weathering affects in a climatic chamber to 1) try and Identity the major variables affecting this weathering process; and 2) check for any possible interactions among these variables. Both a multilevel centralized factorial experimental design and an analysis of variance (ANOVA) were used as statistical tools for estimating the effects of the parameters. Langues : Américain (ame) Index. décimale : 675 Technologie du cuir et de la fourrure Résumé : The effects of the composition of vinyl polymer tannages on the physical properties of leather have been systematically studied with a statistical two-power regression orthogonal design1. Fracture energy was measured along with tensile strength, elongation and tensile modulus for a wide variety of syntan treated pigskin leathers. Eight monomers: acrylonitrile (AN) , acrylamide (AM), methyl acrylic acid (MAA), methyl methacrylate (MMA), vinyl acetate (VAc), methyl acrylate (MA), ethyl acrylate (EA), and butyl acrylate (BA) were chosen respectively to copolymerize with acrylic acid (AA) to form the corresponding copolymers. Tests showed the excellent physical properties of leather treated by the hexa-copolymer composed of AA, AN, AM, MMA, VAc and EA. After performing the retanning application test by using these copolymers as tannages, the physical properties of the retanned leather samples, such as tensile strength, elongation at break, toughness (fracture energy), and stiffness (Young's modulus ) were measured. The results showed the comonomer ratio of vinyl polymer tannages can greatly affect the physical properties of leather. If the comonomer ratio of the hexa-copolymer composed of AA, AN, AM, MMA, VAc and EA is optimized, the hexa-copolymer tannages can offer significant improvements in the tensile strength, elongation at break, toughness (fracture energy), and softness of the leather samples. ThermogravimétrieIndex. décimale : 675 Technologie du cuir et de la fourrure Résumé : Nanoporous silica has been successfully synthesized using hide powder as a template. We investigated the optimum conditions for the extraction of hide powder with acidic solutions and the effect of the removal method of hide powder from hide powder/silica composite on the porous properties of nanoporous silica. It was found from thermogravimetric (TG) measurements that hide powder could be removed from hide powder/silica composite by extraction with 10vol% HCI aqueous solution at 333K for 24 hours. It was also found from N2 adsorption-desorption isotherm measurements that nanoporous silica synthesized by acid extraction possessed a large specific surface area over 1000m2 g-1. Moreover, micropore volume and micropore size for nanoporous silice synthesized by acid extraction was larger than those for nanoporous silica synthesized by calcination at high temperature. We demonstrated that the acid extraction with 10vol% HCI aqueous solutions was reasonable for the removal of hide powder from hide powder/silica composite.

Vapeur d'eauIndex. décimale : 675 Technologie du cuir et de la fourrure Résumé : Research on the effect of UV radiation on the properties and structural of collagen is an area of potential interest. In the present work, air-dried goatskin matrices were submitted to UV irradiation for different time intervals. Influence of UV irradiation on the morphology and various properties of goatskin collagen matrices have been investigated systematically. it was found that the tensile strength of the goatskin matrices increased slightly in the initial stages of UV irradiation (0-4h), while decreasing dramatically after irradiation for long time (8-64h). Elongation at break of goatskin matrices decreased drastically in the first 16 hours irradiation and then reached a platform. The hydrothermal shrinkage temperature and thermal degradation activation energy increased at the beginning and decreased after longer time irradiation. The water vapour transmission rate of goatskin matrices increased obviously after irradiating for 4-64 hours, following a decrease after 2 and 4 hours UV irradiation. UV irradiation resulted in a continuous decrease in sample dimensions. Scanning electron microscopy observation showed that. UV irradiation induced crack and loss of skin tone. ATR-FTIR spectra of goatskin collagen showed that the positions of Amide A and Amide II bands shifted to lower wavenumbers due to the UV irradiation. It indicated that phototransformation had occurred during UV irradiation and exerted dramatic influence on the structure and properties of goatskin collagen matrices.
