Plan d'expérienceIndex. décimale : 668.4 Plastiques, vinyles Résumé : "Advanced partSim". Researchers from Austria, Slovenia and Germany are working on the optimization of the plastic-designed development process from the initial product idea to the start of serial production. Through the use of Design of Experiments before the commencement of mold testing, a robust process parameter set is to be specified without wasteful iteration loops. Modèles mathématiquesIndex. décimale : 668.4 Plastiques, vinyles Résumé : Simulation - Expansion injection molding facilitates the production of very thinwalled parts by the explosive relaxation of compressed melt. A research group has now developed a software that simulates the process based on a physical model. The program’s practical capability is demonstrated by a comparison between the virtual and actual process in the production of check cards.

Simulation par ordinateurIndex. décimale : 668.4 Plastiques, vinyles Résumé : Fibre-reinforced polymers (FRP) have been progressively applied as structural materials during the past 50 years and are now extensively used in applications where, in spite of their high cost, their unique combination of low density, high stiffness and strength as well as toughness is a competitive advantage. Remarkable examples can be found in sectors such as aerospace, with modem commercial and military aircraft employing over 50% of composite materials by weight ; automotive, with electric cars pressing on low vehicle weight associated with extended battery ranges ; and also in the energy and sports sectors. Note de contenu : - Complex design and certification
- Multiscale simulation
