In each instance, the addition of the polyisocyanate crosslinker improved the elevated temperature performance of the two component adhesive.
As with most two component systems, polyisocyanate crosslinkers have pot life issues that need to be managed in order to obtain peak performance. Crosslinkers are available with a range of reactivities, hydrophilic content and cost that allow performance to be adjusted for the specific adhesive application.Note de contenu : - Polyisocyanate

In a variation, acrylic shells can be produced surrounding poly(vinyl acetate) or vinyl acrylic cores. The latexes can be produced at commercial solids levels, with controlled, monodisperse particle sizes. The coatings formed from such core-shell particles exhibit the properties expected of the shell polymers. Core monomers are less expensive than the shell monomers, resulting in significant savings in raw material costs. The technique described is an inverted core-shell process in which the second-stage polymer is engulfed by a previously formed first-stage material. In coatings formulations the less expensive second stage monomers are more hydrophilic than those used to make the first stage polymer. Nevertheless, an inverted core-shell morphology can be made thermodynamically stable by appropriate choices of copolymerizable surfactants in the first-stage copolymer and nonionic initiator for the second-stage polymer. The resulting anchoring groups stabilize the desired particle structure. In medication development, the properties of a tablet, such as its shape, dosage or release of the active substance, can be individually tailored - by making just a few changes to the digital 3D print file. Revêtements organiquesIndex. décimale : 667.9 Revêtements et enduits Résumé : In this paper, the influence of different amounts of phosphoric acid on the protective properties of phosphorylated PVA (PPVA) coatings on a Mg AZ31 alloy is investigated. PPVA coatings and free-standing films were prepared by dip-coating and casting, respectively, and characterized by scanning electron microscopy, Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy and swelling assays. The anticorrosion properties of the coatings were investigated by electrochemical impedance spectroscopy and potentiodynamic polarization, both in 3.5 wt% NaCl solution. The results show that |Z| values increase with the amount of H3PO4, reaching values on the order of 105 Ω cm2 for the coating with the highest amount of H3PO4 (0.100 PPVA). Additionally, this sample shows the lowest swelling degree (around 80%). Polarization tests demonstrate that all coatings significantly decrease jcorr (from 4.8 μA cm−2 to values around 0.3 μA cm−2) by means of a cathodic inhibition. These results make of PPVA coatings interesting water-based alternatives to polysaccharide coatings.
On distingue trois types.

By comparing their balling performance and the mechanical strength, the optimal immobilized carrier was determined. The feasibility of the immobilized Panus conchatus for decoloration of fur dye industrial wastewater was studied. The results show that the immobilized bio-balls have the higher dye decoloring speed and rate than those of the free Panus conchatus. The immobilized prepared by PVA complex embedding method have the better comprehensive performances so as to shorten the decoloring time and increase the decoloring rate. The decoloring rates of the immobilized bio-balls to the acid dyes and the disperse dyes are 98.09% and 91.47% respectively.
