Ego was rigorously developed using F1 technologies and high-performance composite materials. Energica was created and engineered through the CRP Group, whose decades-long activity in the field of high-precision CNC machining and professional 3D printing, along with composite materials for additive manufacturing, allowed the creation of innovative and avant-garde solutions that have made Energica a unique model throughout the world. PrototypesIndex. décimale : 668.4 Plastiques, vinyles Résumé : The production of prototype tools for injection moulding is extremely complicated and costly, especially when steel or aluminium are used. The tools must therefore bi milled and hardened, which means that their production is not only relatively expensive, but it may well take a week. But the time pressure on companies is increasing. In order to provide tools in a significantly more time and cost-effective manner, we recently tested the additive manufacturing process for production. NormalisationIndex. décimale : 668.4 Plastiques, vinyles Résumé : As from 2018, train manufacturers and their suppliers have to implement the provisions of the DIN EN 45545-2 binding European railway standard. Inter alia, the standard addresses the fire behaviour of the materials and components used.
As the subdivision of the safety classes multiplies the types of plastics needed depending on the applications, Lorenz Kunststofftechnik GmbH developed two materials that comply with the new provisions : the BMC 0204 and SMC 0208 thermosets.Note de contenu : - Flame and smoke requirements

Prévision, Théorie de laIndex. décimale : 668.4 Plastiques, vinyles Résumé : Multi-material hybrid structures combining continuous fibre thermoplastic composites with lower-cost options such as chopped fibre thermoplastic composites and metals are an attractive proposition for many industries due to their potential lower weight and cost. High confidence in performance predictions is one of the key enablers to convert this potential into successful industry adoption. However, chopped and continuous fibre thermoplastic composites pose numerous challenges for accurate predictions, due to the inherent complexity of the material behaviour.
To establish confidence in predictions, a test component was designed that can be produced in a representative production process and can validate all of the many different composite failure modes.Note de contenu : - Hybrid overmoulding process and material forms
