The perfect formulation - Dream of Nightmare" was the theme of the lecture meeting of the SEPAWA Specialist Group Cosmetic Application and Technoloies (CAT), which took place on 29th June 2017 at the Hotel Esperanto in Fluda. Seven lectures addressed various topics from the fields if microbiology, preservation, rheology, packaging and "green" formulations. A rousing start came from Ralph Goldschmidt, speaker and coach, who spoke ethusiastically on the subject "The right mix of career, love and lifestyle." On the evening before the event, all delegates were invited to an introduction to the centuries-old art of the brewing trade at the Wiesenmühle Brewery, first mentionned in records dating from 1337; the particular focus was on the role of yeast, which is also significant in the field of cosmetics. |
