Novel polyamide formulations permit the desigh of lightweight and efficient sports and leisure equipment. |

- FIGURES : 1. The comparison of different polyamides shows that a density of less than 1g/cm3 is only possible with additives, as shown here with PA12LD - 2. This ensures that winter sports equipment does not stiffen in cold weather - 3. Grilamid LCL with 30...40% carbon fiber reinforcement is used for bicycle components such as pedals and saddles.
