These surfactants were prepared by two step process. (i) Preparation of decyl phosphate from pyrophosphoric acid and decanol. (ii) Preparation of bis-phosphoric acid from decyl phosphate, (CH3)4NOH and different spacers by using acetonitrile as solvent. The synthesized surfactants structures were verified by FT IR, and 1HNMR spectroscopy. The physical and performance properties like surface tension and interfacial tension, foaming, wetting and emulsion stability of disodium salts of bis-phosphoric acids were also evaluated. The effects of the spacers on the properties were analyzed. It was found that properties were significantly influenced by slight variation of spacers. Langues : Anglais (eng) Tags : Anionic-nonionic surfactants Alkylpolyoxyethylene Polyoxypropylene ether sodium sulfonate Enhanced oil recovery Sea water flooding Interfacial tension Index. décimale : 668.1 Agents tensioactifs : savons, détergents Résumé : In view of imperfections of conventional anionic and nonionic surfactants used for enhanced oil recovery, especially the characteristics of high salinity and high Calcium/Magnesium for sea water flooding, a new novel displacement agent suitable for sea water flooding was synthesized through alkoxylation, epoxidation, sulfonation reaction with fatty alcohol as core. The structure of the product was characterized by IR. The properties of the product, including salt tolerance, temperature resistance etc. were evaluated. At 70°C, when the concentration of this surfactant is 0.3%, the interfacial tension between simulated water solution and Bohai1A-4 well crude reaches 10–3 mN/m order, the salt tolerance reaches 50000 mg/L, the resistance to calcium and magnesium reaches 2000 mg/L. The laboratory physical simulation test shows that the binary complex system (polymer + surfactant) can enhance the recovery ratio by 17.9%, while better synergistic effect of the system is obtained. Langues : Anglais (eng) Tags : Sodium salts fatty alcohol polyoxyethylene ether sulfonate isethionate Temperature tolerance Salt Interfacial tension Index. décimale : 668.1 Agents tensioactifs : savons, détergents Résumé : Sodium salts of fatty alcohol polyoxyethylene ether sulfonates with different length of hydrophobic chain (CnE3SO3, n = 14, 16, 18) were synthesized from sodium isethionate, then the structure was verified by IR. The temperature resistance, calcium-tolerant stability and salt tolerance were evaluated by pyrogenetic decomposition, phase separation and middle phase emulsion respectively. In addition the mixture of CnE3SO3 and heavy alkylbenzene sulfonate (HABS) was studied. The results showed that : (1) CnE3SO3 was very stable at 150°C especially in neutral, weak acid and weak alkaline conditions ; (2) CnE3SO3 performed a good salt tolerance and have a rank of C18E3SO3 > C16 E3SO3 > C14E3SO3 ; (3) the calcium-tolerant stability of CnE3SO3 reached 8700 mg/L, 9500 mg/L and 10000 mg/L respectively ; (4) CnE3SO3 was very good for improving the salt tolerance of mixture of CnE3SO3 and HABS. C18E3SO3 was the best in mixtures of Daqing crude oil/water containing C18E3SO3 and HABS in a ratio of omega C18E3SO3):omega(HABS) = 3:7 and showed the strongest synergistic effect. The interfacial tension in the system Daqing crude oil/water reached a minimum in the order of 10–3 mN/m and was always below 10–2 mN/m for cNaCl from 0 to 15000 mg/L. Langues : Anglais (eng) Tags : Xylose Octadienyl pentosides Phosphorylation Interfacial properties Surfactants Résumé : Phosphorylation of mono- or dioctadienyl-D-xylosides has been studied and led to mono- or dioctadienyl-D-xylosides phosphate derivatives. Comparison between monooctadienyl-D-xylosides and monooctadienyl-D-xyloside phosphate derivatives are not easy because of the complexity of having pure forms and corresponding data. However, comparison of dioctadienyl-D-xyloside diethoxyphosphate derivatives to dioctadienyl-D-xylosides indicates similar cmc values and surface activity. Dioctadienyl-D-xyloside phosphate derivatives, on the other hand, are characterized by a high hydrophilicity and a poor surface activity. Mostly, it was found that the introduction of these ethoxylated or non-ethoxylated phosphate groups influences the solubility and the surfactant properties of the mono- or dioctadienyl-D-xylosides.
