Safe surfactants supersede methylene chloride / Ithiel Mogridge in POLYMERS PAINT COLOUR JOURNAL - PPCJ, Vol. 199, N° 4539 (08/2009)
[article]
- Il est peu soluble dans l'eau (13 à 20 g·l-1 à 20 °C) ;
- Il est miscible avec la plupart des solvants organiques ;

Revêtement autoréparant:Peinture autoréparanteIndex. décimale : 667.6 Peintures Résumé : The concept of self-healing was developed to increase to reliability and service life of coating systems in a wide variety of applications and then minimising the cost of maintenance and rehabilitation.
Relevant existing strategies to accomplish self healing have been investigated : micro-encapsulation of healing agents, resins with high flow behaviour and other emergent techniques.
In this paper, self-healing using microencapsulation wil be discussed. Commercially available paints for corrosion protection and for exterior wall usage were selected. Custom made microcapsules containing oils or corrosion inhibitors, of various diameters and various shell compositions were added to those paints in different concentrations. The self healing process has been followed by visual inspection and accelerated corrosion tests. Strong dependencies and limitations were pointed out : concentrations of capsules, nature of the core, diameter and type of paints. The challenge is to find to appropriate microcapsules to embed in the paint.Permalink : https://e-campus.itech.fr/pmb/opac_css/index.php?lvl=notice_display&id=7590

PigmentsTags : Peinture automobile Pigment effet métallique Bleu indanthrone Index. décimale : 667.6 Peintures Résumé : Indanthrone is one of the oldest synthetic colorants, having been synthesised as an anthraquinone vat dye in 1901 by R. Bohn. It was soon recognised, however, that it could also be used as a pigment in paints and enamesl.
As a dye, it is known as C.I. Vat Blue 4 and as a pigment it is known aq C.I. Pigment Blue 60, 69800. Indanthrone Blue is a bright, reddish blue pigment with notable all-around fastness properties. It has effective durability in both solid and metallic finishes, shwoing little fading in pale shades and has less tendency for bronzing in full and strong shaes than phthalocyanine blue pigments. It is highly durable, even in light white reductions, making it particularly attractive in areas where phthalocyanine blue is not weather-fast enough for the application. Indanthrone Blue is also fast to organic solvents, acids and alkali, and is heat stable up to 200°C.En ligne : https://drive.google.com/file/d/1rG15dI_AAsZBVmwiR9cGmGrA8wjGJnUO/view?usp=drive [...] Format de la ressource électronique : Permalink : https://e-campus.itech.fr/pmb/opac_css/index.php?lvl=notice_display&id=7481
