Contour des yeux -- Soins et hygiène
CosmétiquesIndex. décimale : 668.5 Parfums et cosmétiques Résumé : The expression of the eyes determines the impression of someone's face. For the appearance, many skin characteristics play a role. Low skin density, weak hydrolipid film, lack of drainage fonction and strong muscular stress are the main factors. The facial area around the eyes consists of upper and lower eyelid. Between both lids is the palpebral fissure. The skin of the eyelids and around the eyes is different compared to facial or body skin. It is thinner, more sensitive and can dry out easily.
The muscles around the eyes regularly open and close the eyelid. This blinking protects and moistens the eye, In addition, these muscles are responsible for mimic and expression of the eye region. All eye muscles are surrounded by connective tissue with different structure. Part of this surrounding tissue consists of collagen and elastic fibers, which form only a delicate connective tissue sheath. In this part of the face, there are only few sebaceous and sweat glands resulting in a weak hydrolipid film, The lack of drainage fonction can lead to puffiness and bags under the eyes. This swelling recedes when the tissue fluid is removed via the lymphatic and blond streams.
The eye region or periorbital area is very sensitive. Traces of fatigue, exhaustion, stress, aging and incorrect skin care show quickly in this region, for example as wrinkles and fine lines, dark circles, puffiness. Over time the area appears tired, less energetic and ageing effects show. The periorbital region needs special skin care to work against these symptoms.Permalink : https://e-campus.itech.fr/pmb/opac_css/index.php?lvl=notice_display&id=26756

And what does it mean for hair care ? 24% of the world population is older than 50 years old. In Europe and in the United States of America, these values respectively reach 40% and 36% of the population. Seniors born between 1946 and 1964, the last year in which annual births exceeded 4 millions, are called baby-boomers and belong to the "Silver generation". They grew up in a consumerism and marketing boom, evolving in a positive economic context. How does ageing influence their beauty routine needs ? Produits coiffantsIndex. décimale : 668.5 Parfums et cosmétiques Résumé : Styling products are added to your hair to temporarily change its shape, texture or feel or to hold a hairstyle in place. They are meant to reshape the hair as you want it, and simultaneously improve your hair's volume, increase its shine, soften it, or stiffen it. Styling products can be applied to either wet or dry hair after cleaning and/or conditioning.
Depending on where you are in the world, hairstyles can differentiate people based on their age, marital status, gender or even social class. Societies go through different hair trends over time and styling products have always played an important role in shaping popular trends and choices.
According to Mintel, styling products represent 10%-15% of global annual hair care products launches. In line with trends seen in the shampoo and conditioner markets, consumers are also looking for organic alternatives to synthetic styling products.
We are currently seeing an enormous opportunity to create and sell organic or natural styling products. It is very rare to find truly effective organic or natural hair styling formulations for sale in the global hair care market. It is even rarer to find natural styling formulations that target specific hair types.
But what are natural hair styling products and how do we formulate them? In this article, we want to introduce you to the seven different types of natural styling formulations and discuss their texture and consistency in more detail.Note de contenu : - DUAL FUNCTIONALITY FOR NATURAL STYLING FORMULATIONS

Peau -- Soins et hygièneIndex. décimale : 668.5 Parfums et cosmétiques Résumé : There is a fine line between modifying the skin microbiome’s composition to promote healthy-looking skin and disrupting its delicate balance in a potentially detrimental way. With consumer interest in microbiome-friendly skin and personal care products growing, DSM has been exploring new approaches to restoring and preserving the natural and individual balance of skin microbiota.
Thanks to an innovative data analysis technique, we have been able to go further in identifying and classifying skin microbiota composition. We have then used this information to investigate and visualise the modulatory effect two of our skin bioactives have on key microorganisms.
Additionally, we have been exploring vitamin-based acne-care solutions and have also begun assessing personal care ingredients for microbiome-friendliness in line with a new, independent standard.Note de contenu : - New potential for skin care

PostbiotiqueIndex. décimale : 668.5 Parfums et cosmétiques Résumé : In the last years, the role of skin microbiota in modulating the skin homeostasis has been described. Less known is the microbiota role in the protection of skin against sun radiation. While a healthy and balanced skin microbiota helps protect the skin in front of the harmful effects of sun exposure, a microbiota having lost the correct equilibrium generates metabolites which affect the aspect of skin, worsening the photo-induced ageing.
The active Photobiome™ protects the microorganisms involved in skin photo-protection, boosting the good metabolites (antioxidants, soothing compounds, etc.) which help our skin defend itself in front of harmful radiation. Made from Punica granatum and Gossypium herbaceum stem cells, it contains a skin photo-protecting cocktail. It is a new active with anti-photo-ageing activity backed by a complete panel of in vitro and in vivo tests.Note de contenu : - INTRODUCTION : A new player in skin photoageing : The photobiome factor
