Polymères hautes performancesIndex. décimale : 668.4 Plastiques, vinyles Résumé : Liquid Crystal Polymer - With its pivoting VarioX module, Hella Hueck & Co., Lippstadt, Germany, is introducing a new generation of Bi-Xenon headlights as part of its adaptive frontlighting system (AFS). Rotating a patented free-form drum in increments generates five different light distribution patterns: town light, country road light, highway light, adverse weather light and long-distance light (high beam). The heart of the Bi-Xenon cornering light is a shutter with bearings made from liquid crystal polymer (LCP). Permalink : https://e-campus.itech.fr/pmb/opac_css/index.php?lvl=notice_display&id=16238

PolyphthalamideIndex. décimale : 668.4 Plastiques, vinyles Résumé : A flexible polyphthalamide (PPA) has been specifically designed to replace metal in tubing in the engine compartment of automobiles. This new class of polyphthalamides combines the high-temperature resistance of conventional grades with a flexibility unprecedented in this class of materials. While offering increasing greater design freedom, this polymer solution slashes the overall system costs. Since the new polyphthalamide family readily lends itself to all processing technologies (tubing extrusion, extrusion blow molding, injection molding), functions can be additionally integrated. What is more, thanks to its high content of renewable raw materials, the high-performance polyamide also dovetails with the increasing environmental commitment of the automotive industry. Note de contenu : - Replacing metal
-Extending the performance spectrum
- Cost-efficient manufacturing
- A genuine alternative
- Function integration - Protecting the environmentPermalink : https://e-campus.itech.fr/pmb/opac_css/index.php?lvl=notice_display&id=10126

Classically, these have been heat-cured. However, newer types of resin can be cured with catalysts at ambient temperatures. They offer a number of advantages including low viscosity and the ability to coat very large objects. Note de contenu : - Two key types of heat-resistant silicone resins

Polymères hautes performancesIndex. décimale : 668.4 Plastiques, vinyles Résumé : When printing high-performance polymers such as PEEK, stresses occur in the component due to the relatively high printing temperature and the changes in the material structure. These stresses can lead to microcracking, warping, cracking and ultimately to component failure. In the Smart Printbed project, a system was developed to minimize these influences and also save electrical energy. Note de contenu : - The zone heating system supplies energy only where it is needed
- Design of the smart print bed
- Optimal thermal management requires perfect interaction
- Fig. 1 : The smart printbed can heat, cool and measure temperature. The schematic sketch of the print bed shows the structure, which consists of 25 individual Peltier elements
- Fig. 2 : It all depends on the correct wiring : Only with a bridge circuit can the Peltier elements assume all three operating states (heating, cooling and measuring)En ligne : https://drive.google.com/file/d/1f_paUzdVVUz1Ef5td0LM7XSuc9aDgNVC/view?usp=drive [...] Format de la ressource électronique : Permalink : https://e-campus.itech.fr/pmb/opac_css/index.php?lvl=notice_display&id=35741
