Pour résoudre ceci, un nouveau polyester polyol hydrique doté d'une densité de réticulation accrue ainsi que d'une réactivité plus élevée en termes d'isocyanates a été développé. Moisture variable characteristics, observed in outdoor exposure environments, are reviewed. Data are presented from the experiments performed in end-use and accelerated weathering environments to characterize moisture characteristics on coatings. The information from natural outdoor environment characterizations and design of experiments (DOEs) indicates the new approaches for characterizing coatings weathering with regard to moisture effects. Considerations and new approaches for performing coating weathering studies are discussed. Surfaces -- NettoyageIndex. décimale : 668.1 Agents tensioactifs : savons, détergents Résumé : In today's modern world, convenience is key. This need for convenience permeates most basic tasks, such as cleaning our homes. All of us seek ways to lessen the time we devote to keeping our homes clean while maintaining a sanitary home environment. We all know, however, that cleaning is a time-consuming and often laborious task.
Despite the recent undoubted progress in the quality of household care products, there is still room for cleaning products to fully leverage cutting-edge developments in chemical innovations in order to make cleaning a more efficient task. In response to this, Clariant developed Aristocare Smart, a high-performance, multi-purpose hydrophilic polymer.
Aristocare Smart is an additive that can be added to all types of cleaners to deliver not only high-quality results but also to maintain the cleanliness of surfaces for longer. Cleaners that integrate this new polymer can now combat soils, including soap scum and calcareous build-up, effortlessly and significantly reduce spotting and streaking from product and water residues.
Aristocare Smart forms a thin layer that "smooths" when applied to a surface, thereby preventing droplets of water and soit from "sticking " to the surface. In addition, Aristocare Smart leads to a consistent cleaner dis-tribution, which provides an ordered light reflection and thus leads to a streak-free and shiny surface. Aristo-care Smart hydrophilizes surfaces, which allows faster and longer-lasting water drainage from surfaces. Cleaning products with improved water drainage leave less water residue on surfaces and, as a result, less spotting once dried. This novel polymer allows long-term surface hydrophilization, even after consecutive rinsing with tap water, without leading to long-term build-up.Note de contenu : - TESTS AND RESULTS : Effortless soap scum removal - Anti-streaking - Fast water drainage and limescale prevention

PolyuréthanesIndex. décimale : 668.5 Parfums et cosmétiques Résumé : A new set of proprietary brush-type polyurethanes (Intercoshine family) with aliphatic side chains based on alkyl tartrate diol in a mixture of cosmetically accepted organic solvent (e.g. isododecane, ethanol) has been synthesised in a mixture of volatile aliphatic solvents accepted in cosmetic (isododecane and ethanol).
The composition of the polymers was varied, by changing the diisocyanate building block (IPDI and HDI) and the diol combined with the branched aliphatic allryl tartrate and three different polyurethanes, namely Intercoshine, Intercoshine Flex and Intercoshine Sil, were obtained.
Mechanical tests, gloss measurements and water contact angle were performed. The polymers here presented can generate extremely glossy and hydrophobic films, with elastic and adhesion properties that can be varied according to the properties of the nature of the building blocks and the composition.
Intercoshine polymers can be used as film-formers in anhydrous formulations (eg. lip fluid, eyeliner) or in W/0 and W/S emulsions conferring at the same time an extreme long-lasting and a very glossy finish combined with high skin adhesion wearing comfort.Note de contenu : - FIGURES : 1.
