TopologieIndex. décimale : 668.4 Plastiques, vinyles Résumé : Dimensional inspection of large parts is never an easy thing, and the industrial environment also demands that inspection be robust, reliable, accurate and rapid. Famous for its racing sailboats, Multiplast branched out a few years ago into large industrial precision parts. To deal with all the inspection-related constraints, the French company has acquired a laser tracker from Faro, an American company. Note de contenu : - Aligning structural elements together

In this work, to improve the film characteristics, we impose ultrasonic vibration on the substrate, and therefore the wet coating, during the rod-coating preparation process of the GCFs, and study the effect of vibration power. The 5 x 5 cm2 thin films prepared on flexible polyethylene terephthalate with ultrasonic vibration imposed on the substrate of wet films demonstrate improved conductivity and reduced thickness. Ninefold enhancement in charge carrier concentration is observed when ultrasonic vibration is applied. The improved performance is ascribed to the eliminated pores in films, and rearrangement of graphene in the polymer network, brought about by nanometer-scale-amplitude ultrasonic vibrations. The electrical property of flexible films is demonstrated to be stable after multiple cycles of bending. Note de contenu : - Film preparation

Technique des plasmasIndex. décimale : 668.3 Adhésifs et produits semblables Résumé : The manufacture of composite materials for packaging - If plasma activation is used for composite materials during the production of beverage and food packaging, very high process speeds will be required. However, a continuous process documentation as well as a long service life and short changeover times of wear parts such as nozzles are very important as well. These different requirements are satisfied by the application of a newly developed system. Traîtements de surfaceIndex. décimale : 668.4 Plastiques, vinyles Résumé : Although polymer surface modification is a topic of a large number of investigations, relatively little attention has been paid to surface activation technologies which, when appropriately utilized, make specific polymer-based surface receptive to value-adding interfaces such as inks, coating and adhesive formulations.
The aim of this book is to describe the primary polymer adhesion issues faced by manufacturers, processors and conventers, to outline a variety of methods for attaining an appropriately activated surface, and to provide the diagnostics for various adhesion promotion issues of well as troubleshooting guidelines.Note de contenu : - Primary polymer adhesion issues with inks, coatings, and adhesives
