- le modèle poupée russe: les plans de graphène sont arrangés en cylindres concentriques ;

Revêtements organiquesIndex. décimale : 667.9 Revêtements et enduits Résumé : Multiwalled carbon nanotube/poly(2-ethyl-2-oxazoline) (MWCNT/PEtOx) nanocomposites with different MWCNT content were successfully prepared by amidation reaction between amine-terminated PEtOx (PEtOx–NH2) and carboxylic acid-functionalized MWCNTs (MWCNT–COOH). First, the living cationic ring-opening polymerization of 2-ethyl-2-oxazoline was initiated by methyl p-toluenesulfonate and terminated with ammonia to obtain PEtOx–NH2. Then, amidation reaction between amino groups of PEtOx–NH2 and carboxylic acid groups of MWCNT–COOH was carried out to obtain MWCNT/PEtOx nanocomposites. Finally, nanocomposite films were deposited by spray coating on glass substrates. The structural, thermal, morphological, and electrical properties of the nanocomposites and their films were investigated in detail by gel permeation chromatography, nuclear magnetic resonance, Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, differential scanning calorimetry, thermogravimetric analysis, field emission scanning electron microscopy, and two-point probe digital multimeter. All nanocomposites showed higher thermal stability than neat polymer, whereas the spray-coated nanocomposite films exhibited well-dispersed morphology and enhanced electrical conductivity with increase in MWCNT content.
les polyoléfines thermoplastiques semi-cristallines : polyéthylène (PE), polypropylène (PP), polyméthylpentène (PMP), polybutène-1 (PB-1) ;

Projection au plasmaIndex. décimale : 667.9 Revêtements et enduits Résumé : Nanostructured silver films of different thicknesses were deposited on surfaces of polypropylene nonwovens by magnetron sputter coating to obtain antibacterial and electrical conductive properties. The surface morphology of nanostructured silver films was investigated by atomic force microscopy (AFM). The antibacterial properties of the nonwovens coated with relatively thinner films were evaluated using the shake flask test. The conductivity of the nonwovens coated with relatively thicker films was examined using an ohm-meter. The results of the antibacterial test revealed that the antibacterial performance improved gradually as the film thickness increased from 0.5 to 3 nm. It is believed that the total amount of silver ions released from the coating was increased along with the increase in film thickness. As sputtering time prolonged, the grain sizes of the silver particles were increased and the coating became more compact. The results of the electrical conductivity test showed that the increased film thickness led to the improved electrical conductivity when the film was relatively thicker. The AFM images clearly revealed the change in surface morphology formed by sputter coating. The growth and coverage of the coating layer contributed to the improvement in its antibacterial and conductive properties. Traitement coronaIndex. décimale : 667.9 Revêtements et enduits Résumé : This study describes the application of conductive polymer inks onto PET foils by the waterless offset printing technique. Commercially available conductive polymer inks were employed, which exhibit significantly lower viscosities than conventional offset printing inks. The main focus was put on the influence of the rubber blanket, which covers the blanket cylinder of the offset printing unit, on the morphology and electrical properties of the printed conductive polymer layers. Since film splitting occurs between substrate and rubber blanket, the latter affects the amount of ink which is transferred by the printing process. The wet film thickness of the printed material was determined for different rubber blanket specifications and inking rates. In addition, the resistivity of the printed conductive polymer layer was measured after flue-curing of the samples. Further, the electrical performance on corona-treated and untreated PET substrate foils was compared. Polystyrène sulfoneIndex. décimale : 667.9 Revêtements et enduits Résumé : In this study, we investigate the impact of process parameters on homogeneity and electrical conductivity of slot-die-coated PEDOT:PSS–PVA composite films that are doped with DMSO. Due to a strong correlation between conductivity and morphology of PEDOT:PSS films and the latter’s dependency on the processing step itself, we apply slot die coating for maximized process control and systematically evaluate the impact of coating gap, speed, and film thickness. Since the entire coating and drying process is run in batch mode, the setup is optimized regarding steady-state conditions and high homogeneity of the films. Overall, for the films manufactured in batch mode, we obtain a reproducibility film thickness of 99% and a low deviation from the set film thickness (below 8%). In order to analyze the impact of the coating parameters, stable operating points derived from the viscocapillary model are chosen and either the dimensionless gap or the capillary number is varied. Coating gap and film thickness emerged as dominating parameters, leading to an increase in conductivity of 40% and 70%, respectively, or, when changing both simultaneously, of 157%. Only a minor impact of shear forces (increase of 10%) was found.
