Thermomechanical properties of the polyurethane blends were measured using dynamic mechanical analysis. Kinetics of the ultraviolet-initiated radical polymerization reaction and the polyol/isocyanate addition reaction were monitored using attenuated total reflectance-Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy. Revêtements en phase aqueuse -- Séchage:Peinture en phase aqueuse -- SéchageIndex. décimale : 667.9 Revêtements et enduits Résumé : To design high-performance industrial coatings, formulators must choose from a myriad of polymer chemistries. Proper selection of the polymer will determine the coating's physical and chemical properties as well as its protective capabilities. During the selection of these polymers, each systems advantages and shortcomings must be considered. For example, SB alkyd resins are often chosen in industrial coating applications because of their excellent gloss, good adhesion and wetting properties as well as excellent compatibility with other resin types. However, in many regions including North America, Western Europe and Japan, the consumption of SB alkyds has diminished as stringent environmental regulations have driven the industry towards lower VOC system. Technique de la productionIndex. décimale : 677 Textiles Résumé : As nanofibers show nano-size effects unseen in conventional fibers, nanofiber production technologies remain under active development worldwide. Toray has developed the polymer-blend spinning nanofiber technology. Precise control of minute polymerflows into sea-island conjugated fiber was essential to producing next generation advanced nanofibers. The company was the first nanofiber manufacturer to succeed in producing homogeneously-round, filament-type nanofibers with a < 150 nm diameter, as well as mufti-polygonal shaped nanofibers.
